I love this drama so much. Everything is perfect. I read some reviews before watching this and see a few bad comments on the pace and chemistry. Some says it’s boring, a snooze fest, leads can’t act etc. but after I watched it myself, I don’t agree with all those comments I have read befor.
The drama is breathtaking, the slow pace allows you to appreciate every details, the chemistry is mindblowing, and the acting is top notch. Both park bogum and song hyekyo deliver great acting that the viewer doesn’t need lines to understand them. Their eyes alone is enough. And I love how park bogum perfectly portrayed the “green grape” matures into a reliable man. When you see jinhyuk from episode one and jinhyuk from episode 12, you can see how much he has changed. And btw, the cuba part in episode 10 was taken at the same time as eps 1. You can see the huge gap of emotions he has here from a naive boy to a man in love. Yet there are still people who have the audacity to call him can’t act. Same goes with song hyekyo. I love how both of them express love with their eyes. You want to know what love is? Look into their eyes. You will understand it right away. When they fall in love, I also fall in love, and when they break up, I can feel their pain so clearly.
I also love how this drama doesn’t even have the lovey dovey interaction of its leads off cam. They just focus on building the chemistry on screen and not giving too much gimmicks.
Anyway 9.8/10 for me. The only lacking part for me is the angsts that happens too late and we only have a 10 minutes of happy ending in the end. But overall still a great watch. Will always recommend it to those who wants some calming, beautifully written and captured drama. The epilogue, dialoge, poetry, bgm, and osts are a big bonus to it.

Uuumm, he’s smiling because that’s his character’s personality?? He’s ultra boyish because he’s supposed to be a naive man? 🤣 this drama is about the development of kim jinhyuk from a naive man who sees the world as a playground to kim jinhyuk a mature man who will do anything to protect his love from the bad of the same world. And Park Bogum is such a great actor because he could portray this development well.
