I agree the FL has better tension with the SML but their relationship is more adversarial which would produce more tension. With the ML, it is more about mutual growth and respect. The ML really respects and trusts the FL. He's always willing to listen and learn from her. When she gives him advice, he always acts on it. He has been cosseted his whole life and suddenly he is required to make life and death decisions. Sometimes the scenes have an awkwardness but I'm not yet giving up on the ML. I find him a thoughtful character.

All have happy endings.

Netflix is where I watched it. The BL romance was really good. The BL love interest was my favorite character.

Just finished watching this and really enjoyed it. The characters multi-dimensional dealing with real life issues. All the storylines were absorbing and heartfelt. I wish there were more episodes!!

I actually feel the filming is very natural and real. I agree that the ML crying scene felt fake but find a lot of actors aren't good with those scenes. Real crying is quite messy. I do like that actor though. I think his presence isn't as impactful because his character starts out pampered and naive.

Just finished episode three and am liking it. So far the plot is fast paced and the characters have interesting back stories. The FL is new to me but she brings a lot of intelligence to her role.

I watched this on Viki and really enjoyed it. The cast did an amazing job. I think it was ridiculous to postpone showing this show because one of the cast was accused of bullying while a teenager. We all do things we might later regret especially when we are children. And even turns out that those allegations are most likely untrue.

I have to agree. I feel like they keep adding new mental conditions to the FL to explain plot twists.

I love these two actors - particularly Karlina Zhang> I hope it will be good.

I felt the same after 7 episodes. I do wonder if this is a symptom of censorship? Lately every new Chinese drama I start to watch, I abandon cause the writing, plot, character development is so tentative and safe.

I guess it's just me but I don't feel this drama is anything special. I've watched so many similar Asian dramas that explored the same landscape - always with the same family dynamics. I feel these shows are on auto-pilot - just recycling the same old, same old.

I agree that after the last episode it seems the story is just going to turn crazy. Especially with trailer implying that FL is arrested for murder?? WTF! I was willing to go along with it all while I thought there was some logical plot to it all. But now I'm not so sure?

I thought his role with the greatest emotional depth was in Arthdal Chronicles. He did some amazing acting in that series.

Same. I hate the overuse of amnesia storyline in Asian dramas. I wanted to see the FL go apeshit on everyone.

I thought pretty much every plot possibility had been used for this drama but the trailer for next week shows the FL being arrested! At this point, I am feeling exhausted. I really hate amnesia plot lines cause I think they are just lazy writing. I am wondering how are they going to keep this show going for another 8 episodes??

I think that was all a set up by the friend. I don't think FL was raped. The scriptwriter, I think, intentionally sends us in different directions. But who knows, I could be going in the wrong direction too.
