Yes. I did have faith in the couple pulling through but the reassurance helps.

Chen Xiao is a great actor. He was so good in 'A Dream of Splendor'.

Can't find that trailer. But Jincao's mom knows that the single mom was targeting her son cause she overheard Moli and single mom arguing in the parking lot about it. So I hope the moms stick up for Jincao.

I'm assuming this is the scene between Moli and the single mom? Moli pours water on the single mom because the single mom and given Moli's daughter ice cream which her daughter is allergic to and split water on her.

Of course, Moli is a super woman because she grew up in a loving, supportive environment. That is such an amazing advantage to a child. Her sense of self worth is never in doubt. Poor Jincao, on the other hand, was abused by his father and had a mother who couldn't protect him. The conditioning you experience as a child, especially if it's traumatic, stays with your whole life. I see he is really trying to push himself. And you see that he listens to the advice Moli gives him. He keeps trying to be a better version of himself for her and their daughter.

Yes. It seems like she didn't know. But there was that scene where Moli was sleeping and Jincao takes her phone. I thought he was just checking her messages but maybe he installed a tracking app. But like you say, everyone shares locations.

I wasn't exactly sure what the single mother was admitting to in that scene. What she said didn't make sense to me. I don't think single mom admitted to posting the photo of Moli and the artist.

I agree. I wish they were living together so they could resolve their differences without the distance between. In theory, I understood that Moli thought she could escape his controlling family through divorce. I finished ep 18 and I do think that the characters are moving forward.

I agree. Every character has been given depth and purpose. I am actually invested in every single character. I love the connections between the characters - the three sisters and three cousins, Moli and her best friend. The scriptwriter has really created a universe where you believe these characters exist.

And yes, boys with abusive childhoods can and do grow up to become good husbands and loving fathers.

I see your point. But then that would be a two hour round trip drive. I think if she were childless, it would be a lot easier. And she does still seem to have to sneak around to see the ML.

I agree I would like to see some more sweet moments. But it is reality that relationships can go through periods where couples feel very distant to each other and have to find their way back to each other.

The FIL character is a horror but I think it's also an important plot line. It seems that Moli had no idea of the extent of the abuse suffered by her MIL and husband. With more understanding, she's become able to sympathise more with her MIL and husband. Their relationship is actually growing.

She's able to do it cause it's a TV show. : )
