“Their agency” Mind you MAA is only 6 years old, there are older agencies and bigger that have artist who struggle to get roles like this, what about them? agency can only submit an artist for roles, it’s up to the production/casting crew to select who they want. According to the statement of the production about Yoon Seo, they said “she will show a different side of her that she’s never showed before”. Yoon seo is a good actress, but she’s never done an superhero/action packed drama before, yet you think PD just gave her the role without any test. And fyi, Hollywood A Lister still auditioned for major roles even when they already had a breakthrough. Robert De Niro had his breakthrough in 2 films in 1972 but still had to audition for the god father in 1973 and was rejected but Coppola remembered him and casted him for part ll, which the. won him him an Oscar award. and that’s just one example, there’s many. Also, she flew her OBGYN (all 3 of them) costars to Canada to spend time with them during breaks from filming CTLBT.
