I really wanted to love this, but the last 1/3 of the show was just a dumpster fire. The main villain changed so fast from nice guy to bad guy and he held so much anger for something so stupid. Male lead was also like that.
Finish this today and I must say I'm disappointed . The cast had so much potential but the storyline is weak.…
I haven't finished this drama yet so I don't know everything yet. The character Peat has a deep seeded disappointment in his father because he blames him for his mother's untimely death and doesn't know how to receive the love and approval he craves because his father never showed him that while he was growing up. On top of that he is wealthy and good looking so essentially he could get away with murder (he is full of himself and very selfish character) He never gave anyone the benefit of the doubt or tried understanding anyone else except for his first impressions. They play the character majorly over the top (it's a lakorn soo..that's not unusual) but I feel like it fits with the story. I've seen when he does feel love or attraction to Kiew (like I said haven't seen the whole thing) he is very childish about expressing it. Then when his feelings are crushed by her moving in with her mother he explodes with anger.
It was an OK watch. The plot was terribly predictable. The acting was okay. The only big issue I had is I hate that at the beginning and the end is the only parts where they showed mutual affection. I know it was supposed to be the point and the main character was supposed to find her love for the other, but I didn't feel much attraction between them.
This is a decent Chinese drama. It's 24 episodes, but it has a lot of cute scenes, and manufactured drama, but the relationships (especially between the leads) are sweet. The twist at the end was really MEH.
I really wanted to watch this, but it's too fast in the beginning and drags in the middle. The plot seems exciting, but when I got into it the whole thing fell apart. She had no reason to want to take revenge to that degree.. I didn't get into it. I dropped it.
I loved the Japanese version. This one was kind of like 'meh'. It's ok and has some good build up, but I feel like he wasn't attracted to her he just liked having her around. Acting is decent, but the quality of film is amazing.
The pacing of the romance in this show is extremely weird. I'm glad I watched something so silly. The plot was good, but the script and acting was off. I also couldn't find a decent (full version) of this to save my life.
Can you tell me if the male lead rapes the female lead ? The story sounds interesting but I try to avoid lakorns…
I don't think so. The male lead isn't like that, but the secondary characters there might be some attempts. I don't recall any actual scenes like that, but the lead female is a strong type, and the story is good.
So good. So long. I hadn't realized how many episodes this had until I started watching (hate anything more than 35) but I couldn't stop watching. You really get to know the characters and the story flows nicely. The end is a bit abrupt. Not all the plot is finished in my opinion but soooo goooooood.
I had to drop this. Main couple didn't have chemistry and the back and forth of 'I love you' and 'you're just my creditor' made my head spin. Maybe I wasn't in the right place to watch it, but it was boring and the problems were anticlimactic. The child was the best actor, and the great grandma was awesome too.
I mean...It didn't have memory loss. It had all the other cliche Thai drama themes though. The main lead (I love him in almost everything) was a good villain. You got where he was coming from, but the ends didn't justify the means. What he did was deplorable. He didn't make up for it until the very very end. After being imprisoned and almost raped I would never ever go back once I got out. Brain wash maybe, but she just kept giving into his crazy. I know they probably wanted to convey that she also loved him from the start, but if my S/O didn't anything like that it'd be bye felicia.
Ok. After almost bawling my eyes out I'm here with a very positive review. I hate sad endings. I do. I almost regret watching this, but it was so good that I can't even right now. Even if it was a sad ending I feel like with the writing in the show it somehow turned out positive. I just wish they would of showed more after the conclusion to give you closure for the family. Gawd. My heart. Watch this. I don't get why it has only a 7.7 cause it's so good.
So many moments I was like "What the heck?" which is refreshing. I didn't watch the original, but this was so good. I didn't expect most of the twists. Acting was good, and I feel in the end everyone learned their lessons (or died) and karma played a lot.
I agree with the majority of people. This was one of the best not popular k-dramas! I'm not one for fantasy dramas, but like...It got so good. Have no doubts. If you read this and haven't watched it; WATCH IT! The ending was kinda perfect. Even though it had a grim turn for the main character you don't actually see him die. You see him happy even though you know it's not going to last (I like to think it will cause *miracles*) The side characters are so amazing and the plots don't get in the way for the main story. I was sort of confused about the father's plot with how he was connected to the main man's family, but even then he was very good. It wasn't a black and white drama. Even the good guys had flaws and made mistakes, but I feel like most of them atoned.
