WHAT! Ok truthfully I binged this. I have to get this out...POOR NICK. I mean wtf?!? He walks this girl through destruction and chaos, then supports her using money he didn't have. Oh can't forget he also helped raise her daughter from an infant so she could finish school. All without making a peep. Never pressuring her or saying a bad thing about her choices.
Yet this bish has the nerve to stomp all over his nesting doll heart to go back to man who was selfish. Someone who was like 'get an abortion' left her alone to face all of it.....Smh.
I loved this drama but woah...Second lead syndrome to the max.
I'm usually a slap/kiss kinda lakorn person but this was excellent.

That was..weird. It was really intense, but just very weird. I too felt the male lead was too old and I couldn't get over the fact he had the mother first. Yuck. I also hated how most of the series he treated her like dirt for her mother's behavior 20 years ago. Build a bridge man!
Then at the end he's basically like 'I'm sorry I did it all because I love you but I didn't know how to express it...' how about not raping her then calling her names. Least likeable male lead out of all the dramas I've watched. Then he continuously lies to her about everything and an apology is supposed to fix all of it?
I mean if you like slap/kiss I would recommend it, but this drama actually made me feel dirty after watching it. Nui should of chose Kai and she should of just accepted the several outs she was given to get out of this situation, but didn't because of her pride and her mother..Who DIDNT deserve it. Her mother's growth throughout was none. She was still the same person at the end, she only realized her flaws instead of fixing them.
I got this title off of so bad, but so good. I agree that this is one of the best bad dramas I had seen in awhile. I watch lakorns on the regulars, and this Chinese web series surpassed them all in craziness. It was very fast paced compared to regular Chinese dramas. It kinda jumped from time to time in the middle of everything. I binged it because of the insanity of all the plot twists. Just when I was like 'oh no they didn't' something else really crazy happened. It's worth a watch. There is alot of hinting at violence so if you're someone who doesn't handle that well don't watch.
Tbh this was pretty good. I liked the story (I'm a sucker for revenge). What I didn't like was the middle it was slow and the 'build up' didn't make me want to watch. The beginning and the end were satisfactory. The villain in this is amazing! Even just watching I'm scared.
Rewatching this drama. I think it was one of the first j-dramas I watched. So touching and has a deep story. Every time I see this I hate the brother more and more.
This is the best Chinese drama I've ever watched. The story is very good, the actors are decent, and I really have zero complaints. If you are remotely interested in this JUST GO WATCH IT.

I don't know if I would of chose to get back with my constant abuser and tormentor, but it wouldn't be a Lahkorn if they didn't end up together. Acting was good (over the top but good). Story kept me glued. If you're into this kind of drama you'll love it.
Love it! Just the right amount of action & romance. I wasn't disappointed with either lead. I thought the male lead played a mafia boss well. I think if you go around shooting people and selling guns illegally you should probably a little cold and detached. Also loved the female lead with her sweet but sour ways, and she wasn't dumb! Well only when it came to love.
