Seriously, Elijah/Cai's reaction to his father dying is some of the best acting ive seen Period. That was some…
I couldn't agree more. Maybe I just need to watch Lovesick too. Make It Right was the earliest BL series and My Bromance, the earliest BL movie I watched after Love of Siam. I loved the story and I was captivated by Fluke and Peak's acting. But that time I just couldn't get over Love of Siam yet.
"I can't be your boyfriend, but that doesn't mean I don't love you." This sentence still haunts me until now. hahaha Did you see in one of earlier Pchy's concerts, Mario surprised him? He brought that wooden doll from the movie and let Pchy put that missing nose to that doll. They hugged and called their character names, Tong and Mew. That was the ending we deserved! People then started singing their OST. It was very nostalgic and got me teary-eyed! In a Reminders concert last year (that's 12 years later!) in Siam Paragon together with other recent BL couples. These couples recognized and acknowledged TongMew. Then Pchy entered as a surprise guest singing their movie OST, then another surprise heppened - Mario entered shouting "Mew", sang and walked to Pchy. People were just screaming. I couln't help it but smile like a fool. ;) They were like "Fathers of all Thai BLs", probably all BLs in the world. ;)
How many BLs you've watched has no bearing on my opinion of a specific one, which I do not enjoy. That's the magic…
Has no bearing or not, this is also my opinion, is it not? There are 2 sides of a coin. I just want to express my complete disagreement. So does it make me immature? ;)
Saying Hello Stranger is better? huh? hahaha "If you like BL, I'd stay away from this." Really? I have been watching BLs all of my life and Gameboys is superb. Good thing no one voted for this review to be helpful. hahaha Glad you dropped watching to stop you from suffering. ;)

Love of Siam and He's Coming to Me. Wow. You've got taste bruh! hahaha Love of Siam set the bar high among Thai BLs. Ohm, on the other hand, that dramatic scene, oh gosh.
So, many are comparing this to Hello Stranger (or to Gameboys). Ang layo kaya. LOL. Obviously, finally we see physical interactions. They still include the "virtual" format but again it's not exclusive to Hello Stranger and Gameboys since obviously about our situation now. Well, it's still definitely limited (thus the "house" setting here). Cinematography wise, it's really good. This is close to what we see in mainstream Thai BLs. So, kaka-proud. I like it when they set a heavy/sad mood at first because it just makes people think (similarly in Until We Meet Again) - some people perceive it either negatively or positively. It doesn't matter if some love it and some hate it, what matters is they got curious. Then, the lighter mood occurs to the rest of the episode. People are asking, it is before the breakup? or after? It doesn't matter for now, what matters is they got curious again. So, kinda effective right? On the other hand, I'm still not sure about the acting department. But this is something they can improve on. (Dami kayang acting workshops even within filming) I see a lot of BL actors have troubles with this, but because of dedication and hard work they shut up haters in the end (cough Win Metawin cough Mew cough). But what I am sure is, they're all good looking. It's a big plus in the BL world. It's too early to judge, since it's the first ep. I'm not good at reviewing either (but I watched countless of BLs in my life), but I know people have always something to say - bashers or not, they still invested their time to watch the first episode.
PS: I love the Filipino identity here, I see Baybayin and I'm proud to see that on a Filipino series. They use "Kabanata" instead of Episode, and "Yugto" instead of chapter/part. More power! I definitely support this! I'm hopeful.
I thought nothing else can beat Terrence sa stress ko while watching Gameboys. Then, they just dropped the bomb. I can't. I just can't. One week na naman to wait.
I'm sorry, but I have been overthinking about the previous episode. haha And I'm very glad tonight's the 7th ep. Not a spoiler, just an unpopular prediction though. Mentioning Michelle might be a foreshadowing to Pearl's side story (a GL). I think they wouldn't mention her name for nothing (just like seeing Terrence's name liking Pearl's post on ep3). Also, remember that Gav said to Pearl that she has the best stalking skill (well it's not really a good thing though)? So, I wonder why are they still friends with Terrence after knowing the fact that Terrence actually cheated on Gav. Was she stalking Terrence? Was she stalking Terrence and Michelle? or just Michelle? Oh oh you sneaky, Pearl. haha I dunno now. Bye.
And no one has called anyone "wife" yet. I'm so proud of this series
I think the writer knows what he's doing. 1. about Gav's female hero. he said though he's a man he can of course choose a female hero after Cai asking him that 2. Gav mentioned about "the consent" 3. Pearl named the ship CaiReel, instead of GavCai (which the usual aggressive one's name being first in the ship name.) not sure. haha Kokoy also named the ship EliKoy (Elijah Kokoy) in real life.
