I do look forward to the show, but it's not very good. If you take it for what it is, it's entertaining and engaging…
Can I ask? Where are you from? It's not actually a rare sight in the Philippines. Many effem gays are very vocal about fawning over someone. Straights on the other hand either ignore it or go along with it as long as it's not crossing the line. Violent reactions happen, but they are often considered homophobic. I know sexual harassments happen to men too. And it's not good. So I don't really like Jelai's excessive advances to Jam. Ken's brother, on the other hand, is just being funny. As far as I know, he didn't really touch Ace like Jelai does to Jam. I'm not saying I'm overlooking these faults, but I also want to see the representations they want to portray. Also, aside from it, the series overall is not that bad. We're still halfway of the series. I heard Jelai or perhaps Ken have their own stories. So, I'm looking forward to their character depth and development.
Wow. Ratings is going up to 7.8 now. I remember they got 4.something before. They're surely improving and I'm glad that the people who were displeased and kept criticizing this series already dropped this and stopped commenting and complaining here (at least fewer now hahaha). One thing I regret though ---> the milk tea. hahaha
Please forgive me saying this guys, but lemme say this in Korean, Shibaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal! My single ass is crying at midnight. FU all happy relationships out there!
Does anyone know if the My Day actors and crew are taking COVID precautions? Have they all been tested? From what…
Just think like this, they can be brought to jail if they didn't follow precautions mandated by the local government. (So not just My Day) Correct me if I'm wrong, My Day actors and staff are staying in one place - they don't go home or anywhere throughout filming. Even most scenes are film in one building/house.
Ahh this is what Alec said in an interview, he's not actually part Korean. So he had to speak Korean here even though he didn't know the language. He's definitely a good actor.
Omgsh he has a Thai name!? Is he partly Thai or is "Paeng" just his Thai nickname? :)
It's is like uhh a very old style of giving nicknames. Filipinos usually put "-ing" or "-eng" after a syllable from their name. His name is Raphael, so it's "pha" --> "pa" + eng = Paeng.
Another pinoy BL that uses video calls as a storytelling device?! Not that I’m complaining as I always welcome…
We can't blame them. The Philippines case is not good in terms of number. With the same device, they'll just come up something different because people will always compare them. I heard the release was delayed. So I think they're going to have more in-person interactions. On the other hand, Pinoy BLs like In Between, My Day, and the upcoming Better Days managed to shoot face-to-face since they choose a province where covid-19 cases is not worse like in big cities or they can maximize one place to use for different settings.
Unpopular opinion: Among the couples in the BL world, only TinCan made me question about my role. I have been an "uke" all my life, but seeing them made me question my role again. Some people may think that their relationship may have been forced or mainly done because of fan service, but I think their story is the most natural and realistic. I had similar story when I was in college.
But I'm not gonna lie, Orion is friggin snacc.
