Ben seems like a dick based on the first two episodes and he's not even trying to hide it. Jim haven't done anything…
First, I hate Ben for those things you mention. Second, I hate Jim for sounding homophobic at times. Third, I hate the characters but love the actors. They portrayed their realistic characters very well. I'm looking forward for the character development. Finally, oh come one, leave the cakes, Ben already said in ep 1 that he's not that good at baking em that's why he doesn't sell those. ;)
Do you know how realistic it is? It is really. Ben, as a gay man these days, finally found the right time to come out much more easily to his male friend. He is seeking acceptance and normalization for his preference. However, he's looking after himself too much that he doesn't consider Jim's feelings first specially about his family issues when in fact Jim already shared it with him the night they drank. Jim on the other hand, as a straight man (so far), tried to be honest about his words but tend to be uneducated about the gay community (Hence, Ben said he's still politically incorrect). But Ben needs to understand Jim since he needs more education about Ben's preference. (Realistically, Jim sounds like most straight men I know.) Props to Jim anyway, he said he accepts Ben for who he is and didn't get angry when Ben took a video of him. Clearly, Jim values consent but he's tolerant to his childhood friend. I love the realistic representations here as I love the clichés part as well! Who doesn't love clichés in BL? hahaha I love this series by far! It's around the same level with Gaya sa Pelikula for me! ;)
Ohm's one happy-go-lucky person... he was there for Pang and the Namtarn. Now, I agree with Wave, you're Pang's best friend if he needs something from you. I understand Pang... he's a kid... he's overthinking... he feels everything is his responsibility... but at least he should recognize his friends and how they feel. Wave was disappointed ofc. Pang was the first person he totally opens himself to... Ohm valued Pang too so much as a friend. So it hurts me bad when he left Ohm in the room being hurt.... he didn't even say sorry. Pang chased Wave because he knew Wave can help him the best in his plans. Sorry, but this time I feel for Wave and Ohm.
The cast teaser seems that the Philippines has just answered to the recent Thailand F4 teaser. That level. Aesthetics are great! Looking forward to this!
It was actually a really good pilot episode. This is my next favorite PH BL after Gameboys, Gaya sa Pelikula, and Ben X Jim. Now I just realized the couple's name KeyChen (sounds like "keychain"). Oh pinoy's humor actually.
First to comment here before it's gonna be epic. The prince is a Burmese-Turkish model, Hugo Naing. Now, surely his love interest is a Filipino. So we better have the best representative!
Okay I think this is what happened with the gifts:1. Sue gave Vlad a jockstrap for Christmas.2. Karl's gift for…
Oh that happened? I couldn't see the drawing exactly. I thought it was Vlad's family and Sue wanted to give a heartwarming gift to Vlad and pretended the courier was unreliable. But I realized there were three in the drawing, it can't be Vlad because he has a sister. I saw the gift wrapper Karl used, it was the same wrapper Vlad opened. So I thought, did Karl wrapped Sue's gift for Vlad? Now, it makes sense Karl knew about the jockstrap. hahhaha Thank you!
I felt a lump in my throat when I watched the trailer. It is so touching and warm. And finally, I see a homosexual couple as parents (it seems). Great representations! Thai BL is evolving!
