Jennifer, Dong and Jay are siblings. I think Vee is an orphan (his story seems like it so far). Vee lived with a nun (Sister). I think Vee and Jennifer are close friends but perhaps Jennifer has feelings for Vee. Jennifer said she'd do a spell with Vee to help Vee be loved by her brother, Dong, since Vee is developing feelings for him. Now not sure since the Latin translation of Jennifer's spell says it would cast away Dong and Vee would fall for her.

I can't help but thinking of 2moons and 2moons2 - but in a rural setting. The actors are serving visuals and I think they sing the OST too? I think they're a boyband or something. Shots are beautiful and I love how they educate people about the community in the last part.

Other series were amazing in trailers but suck in the actual show. This is the opposite! This is a very strong pilot episode in my opinion. There are BLs that in a few minutes it started, you'd feel sleepy already. But I got hooked on the first few minutes here! I feel the Art of the Devil / Long Khong vibes. Supernatural is totally my jam, BL is a bonus here. It's dark, literally too. haha To those people who don't know, Philippines was under the 3-century old colony of Spain that explains the Latin spells they used. Prayers in the past also used Latin, and some people here still use it with their prayers. However, shamanism and witchcraft in the Philippines already existed during pre-colonial times. It's west meets east. But it's very similar to other Southeast Asians beliefs and styles like in Thailand. I love this! I hope this could get more sponsorship and budget!

It's one of the BL series I have been looking forward to this Nov, but this month is almost ending. Anyone knows if this would be put off?

I was rooting for Pure and Waan first, then Folk and Pai. I ended up with PureFolk and I'm not complaining! Don't get me wrong, I like Pai and Itt, but I think they could have done better. Fiat's acting on the other hand is so natural.
