That would be a desirable ending. Because no matter how good the series is for me, I'm not a fan of these tragic endings. There are still 2 episodes left anyway.

I needed to rewatch to understand more. Me neither, I'm not sure whether Ken died or not. (or just in a coma) The mom asked Lawrence to come probably she's worried about him since he would be alone (and still a high school student). Or she wants him to be with her since she's actually mourning. In the dialogue about the neighbors talking about them, the translation seems to be in a present tense, but in Filipino, Lawrence actually mentioned "still". So even Ken died, neighbors will still be talking about it. Or perhaps that's not what they meant, probably they meant neighbors would be talking about Ken died because of his mother. I saw the dad's urn... but there were scenes that they were possibly carefully hiding Ken's picture and photo intending not to reveal it yet. About Lawrence seems to hear Ken, probably he felt something. It's not uncommon in films to see people noticing something if a ghost wanted to communicate with them. Again, I'm not sure, so let's see on the next episode.

Damn it. It gave me goosebumps actually. I knew there was something off. It's around halfway of the episode that I was getting creeps. I'm not sure about this and I haven't read anything about this story to avoid spoilers, but apparently by the looks of it Ken and Shake already died. That's why Ken wasn't noticed and he was wearing the same shirt on the day of the accident. When his brother said "you and brother will go to the rest house" and when his mom said "Ken, you have a visitor" - they're probably referring to Ken's urn. Furthermore, there's a reason why Sandee's character is to see ghosts (I admittedly thought it was funny and odd) because she plays a big part of this. Another thing is, probably Ken is in a coma. Shake may be dead or in a coma too. Again, I'm still not certain about this. But if Asterisk really gives me this upsetting ending (like The Shipper ughhh), they should better give us a bubbly and feel-good BL series on their next project! Lawrence and Jayvee really gave me butterflies in my stomach even with that little scene already!

The Filipino flavor here is immaculate. Literally, too. ;)
Ep1 is a good start! PH BLs are not stopping I tell you.

I won't be surprised if the rating goes up to 9 or even more than that! I can't believe we only have 2 more episodes left.

I don't know about you guys, but every time I hear that OST perfectly timed to special moments, I get butterflies in my tummy.

Can the Philippines have their own "BL Series Awards Night". I would definitely fly to Manila to see and pay it live. PH BLs are like mushrooms after the rain in 2020. They deserve to recognize these gems. If there is, I would like to nominate the following:

1. Best Couple: PangPang of Gaya sa Pelikula
2. Best Kiss: Elikoy of Gameboys
3. Best Story: Gaya sa Pelikula
4. Best Actor: Elijah of Gameboys

Sorry I'm so hyper about PH BLs these days. hahaha

I LOVE Gameboys. But Gaya sa Pelikula is the first PH BL I have to watch twice at one night... not to mention watching it again with BL reactors. haha

Paolo, who played Karl, is a gymnast. He's very fit and flexible (if you know what I mean. hahaha).

I want 20 episodes or more! haha but yeah this is just a prequel of the novel, and it happened during the pandemic that requires limited production. So, I'm very much looking forward to the next season!!
