He will also be playing one of Mork's two gay dads in 'My Ride'. I guess he's pretty vers as an actor. ;)
Oh, that's what happened! I really thought that if there's a trailer, it means it's already final. So glad to hear they got the funding because the trailer was so good as well as the cast!
Management Engineering is a actually a business degree in Ateneo, not really *that* kind of engineering :) https://www.ateneo.edu/ls/jgsom/bachelor-science-management-engineering
what is "that" kind of engineering btw? haha i know girl i'm from the phils. but just don't burst our bubbles.
I honestly thought this was one of those light series where when you knew you like each other you just went for it, kiss and have sex. I was wrong. There's more depth in this series. I totally understand Gene up to this point being an older closeted gay for a very long time isolated from people and relationship. I understand that urge when he finally found "someone" and he just let himself feel the moment... but "that person" was actually serious about him and did not take advantage of that moment where he was vulnerable. I have so much respect for Kao's character and to the writer!
Can I say something about this? I actually watch this and Lovely Writer every week. I'm very glad that Thai series is definitely evolving. I love to hear people mentioning "gay" in their dialogues. saying "I'm gay." should be normal in BL series unlike before that you're only gay to someone you love (gives me cringe now). I love Up and Mix these days - as actors and as the characters they play - not to mention they could pass as brothers, couldn't they? They're equally convincingly talented actors! Not to mention, I've been simping over Earth and Kao too!

I don't think this series so far deserve a 6+ rating. Apart from the very sensitive topic they're tackling (I know we should see depression and HIV as a serious illnesses, and needs to be treated.) and some obvious audio/mic issues, I can really consider this as a potential top-tier Filipino BL. Actors, though mostly unknown and newbies, are doing amazing in the acting department. Enzo isn't awkward in doing fun and bright characters. Kaleb looks already a pro-actor! I know this BL isn't for every one. But for Filipinos, where religion plays a big role in molding their culture and perspectives in lives, this show has been enlightening to its people. I just love how Filipino BLs focus on real issues in the community.
Finale has just finished. This is short and pure. JMS and JPH are such gems in writing and directing respectively. Season 2 would be like Meet Me in Manila. haha I loved this and I'd love to see a full-blown series of this couple.
Or maybe we should leave these people alone? It's not hurting anybody and maybe they connected with it on a personal…
Exactly. Something may be the best for other people but not for you. I'm pretty sure MDL users have already watched other series to know what their tastes are. Gosh.
Guys, mind you. It's the same creator and director from Like in the Movies (Gaya sa Pelikula). The actors also acted in pioneering PH BLs before. So, pretty much I'm expecting it to be good! (And the pilot is really good!) Though it's just a microseries, but it's Blued sponsored. So, quality is already great! Ep.1 is already on YT, but not sure if the rest would be uploaded there though, wouldn't it?
I can't imagine it's already ending. I just started watching last night and I'm very much invested in this series. I cried a lot oh goodness. I wonder I'm not a wizard yet. haha
Ep9 made a full 360 degrees of roller coaster of feels.
