I doubt a feminist would quit her (very well-paid) job to find a husband.
I don't think that not keeping a job can be seen as not feminist. One should have the right to quit if it is too stressful and if he/she has the money to survive without it for the time being. But I 100% agree that she is not quitting in the right way and that her resignation out of the blue makes no sense (we know it was just a trigger for the main lead to realize his feelings). I also know that korean society is old-minded, but fortunately this is slowly changing. Btw, for what I've watched I don't think that Segretary Kim can be seen as a feminist character (at least for now). The drama intent seems to be far away from this kind of social matters.

Why not? I don't see how marriage is anti-feminist. Feminism is about gender equality. Is dating against that? Is marriage against that? Is having babies against that? I don't believe so. Wanting to love, date, marry and having babies with someone are just human desires that have literally no gender. The main girl here just wants to find someone who loves her, but keeping THIS job is preventing her from doing it, so she just decided to resign because it's not making her satisfied with her life. I don't see how this can be seen as anti-feminist, unless she says "I want to marry to have an husband that prohibits me from having a job and orders me to look after the house and the babies."
Is it just me or is that brother hella suspicious? You are cute, Sung Yeon, but you still set off my warning bells.
From episode 4 I have kinda a theory. I think the brother knew he was kidnapped but didn't help him because of jealousy. He's clearly jealous of Young Joon because he is very capable and also parents trusted him with the business and praise him so much. Also, Young Joon said that since he was very smart he skipped grades and being in the same class as his brother was not good. So maybe the brother kinda bullied him because he was jealous of his intelligence? But we also know that the main lead did something to be forgiven for related to the inheritance of the company, so it seems like they are trying to go with a "misunderstanding between brothers" trope. However, from preview he's going to try to steal Mi So from Young Joon. All in all I think he is a cute little pie untill his brother is concerned. Then he becomes "fake", because he's trying to be the mature big brother than forgives but as you said he's suspicious and I don't really think he's the only one who should forgive.
It would be very refreshing to see a bad second male lead but I don't think they will. These dramas always end with happy big families full of love and smiles. xD
I am fearing the love triangle will make the storyline drag so much. The leads chemistry is so good that it will just be painful watching her "fall" for the brother just because he has the charming prince vibe she's been looking for. I just hope that whatever happened between the brothers will not cause trust issues between Mi So and Yeong Joon.
Guys i don’t understand the message yeong joon sent to secretary‘There are two people in this world who cannot…
It is going to be explained later for sure but to me it seemed either "Being the way I am, I am overly considerate towards you and my brother, so don't act as if I am not." Either secretary and his brother are the only people aware of the reason why he's not considerate toward others. Either because of certain things they're gonna explain later, he means that her and his brother did something not so considerate and he is aware of that. So it was like "don't speak about consideration, you were not always considerate." The latest one seems the best to me, even tho it doesn't make sense for now.
This one might not be a masterpiece, but it is hella entertaining and makes you want to binge-watch it. Every episode I keep wondering what twists there will be in the next trial and the romance is so mature, really. Surely one of the best drama this year.
I think there is more going on re what happened with the uncle. It may not all be as it seems.
I agree. Also, in the preview Sang Pil says something about the uncle preparing something. Honestly it's pretty unlikely that after meeting Jae Yi's mother they just parted ways.
yes, me too Oto x Tenma feels like Oto is gonna hurt Tenma big time tho :(hopefully, they don't turn him into…
Yes, the drama eventually will need a turning point and I am assuming something big will happen with Tenma... Maybe he will just realize he doesn't like her anymore and falls in love with someone else? That would be shocking tho xD Btw me too I hope everyone stays nice >.<
I can't decide if I like this drama or not. The characters are kinda relatable and well written, but I do feel like they want to repeat the same scheme as HanDan giving off the "she will be the one that would make him change his manners and show his trueself" vibe, but I don't feel it works here. Haruto is such a funny and complex character, but I do feel he loses all his charms as soon as Tenma appears... While in HanDan I felt bad for Rui, he was sooo just the second male lead, but Tenma is so active in his role, and he also has a solid background story with Oto... Although Oto and Haruto are fun to watch, I still do think Oto-Tenma couple works better. Someone feels the same?
I totally agree too, it did not make sense especially when they were starting to get close, what was the point…
Exactly! When you first fall in love with someone you don't really want to leave that person so easily, I feel there isn't even time to resolve the things properly. -___-
Honestly I hoped this drama would not become the same as others when dealing with the surfacing past problem. What's even more disturbing is the total lack of communication between the two leads at episode 15. I realized I had to force myself to watch a drama I couldn't wait to watch till this point. I thought this drama depicted life, love and marriage really realistically, but I've never seen someone giving up on his/her lover just because someone letting her/him know about her/his traumas from the past. After Ji Ho said to the ex they'd become enemies if she still had feelings for Se Hee I was expecting some reality from this drama. I'm so sick of characters stepping back without even trying to understand what's going on or to save the relationship first... seriously, why isn't there clear dialogue? I'd never stay silent in front of my husband after figuring out myself he had a girlfriend and almost a son. Being a couple seems just like hiding things and thinking only about other person's good without even asking them their pow. I know this drama uses question and the character's answers are often different from each other, but I am not enjoying the use they're making of it this time. Am I the only one feeling like this? I know the show will have a happy ending but I can't help to fell bad about this twist. :(
The ex has to show up because there is unfinished business between her and he male lead. The resentment between…
Yes, I know all that. I know it is a drama. I know they had to meet in order to move on and all the other things that come with that, since the main lead was obviously shocked by how things ended with her. My comment was not about the need to show her - I knew from the beginning she was going to have a part in this and I was waiting to know more - but about the 'time' they decided to show her up. I know it's symbolic in some ways, but I was just hoping for the writers to not make her appear when the leads just started bonding, because that's what I always see in dramas and I'm tired of. ( Generally it always ends up with the main girl being intimidated by the beauty and knowledge of the ex, so she steps back because at this point of the story she thinks her feeling are not strong enough because they've just started dating. Most of the time the main guy doesn't even get involved in the whole process of misunderstandings between the girls, but this doesn't happen in real life. Next week's episode preview gave me this vibe, that's why I'm worried this drama will turn out similar to others. Still liking it, still rating it high, but if they are going to break up for this reason, I will be disappointed.) That's all, I just hope it doesn't turn cliche, since it's the best drama I've watched in a while :)
I'm a little bit worried about what the ex-girlfriend is going to do here. I know she won't ruin the relationship, but I'm afraid she would make me lose interest in the drama creating the same cliches that make me bored. If Ji Ho's willing/thinking to step back because of her I will be so disappointed. Why do they always have to make the ex appear when there's no clear relationship between the two leads yet? I know it is important to know the male lead past etc... but why did they had to do it now that they just started "dating"? So cliche.
Honestly I’m not a big fan of LJS the only one that I completed with him was Pinocchio that had PSH dropped…
Not a masterpiece, but a nice drama that mixes many genres so it's not too cheesy, too funny nor too serious. Both Doctor Stranger and W were poorly written dramas imo, this one has at least a nice pace throrough the whole thing. Suzy acting improved a lot since her past works. LJS's acting has always been if not good at least pretty average to me, more like his characters are often the same and sometimes his dramas have nice plot but terrible scripts, but that depends from the drama, not just from him as an actor. I don't think you should worry about the main leads in this drama, there are many characters. I know there are many negative reviews, but I guess many people are disappointed because they were expecting a masterpiece or something, but if you start it thinking it's just a nice drama I think you will like it. :)

It's a light drama about everyday life and main couple has a great chemistry. They're adorbs.
Yes, she seems very nice to be an ex-girlfriend. Not just a filler but an interesting character.
Both Doctor Stranger and W were poorly written dramas imo, this one has at least a nice pace throrough the whole thing.
