I just finished the drama after 2 days, i find myself alone reading the comments bc i couldnt stop watching it,…
You probably would've enjoyed the discussions here when it was still airing. And same, she was mine too. Aside from her good wardrobe, she effortlessly shifts between two different identities while depicting the fear, pain and grief that both characters hold. She did great portraying the prince and princess both physically and emotionally. I have nothing but praise for her.
How’s the romance between the leads? Worth the watch?
PEB and RW have good chemistry and the reverse cliché was entertaining. The ml being good with books, medicine and gardening, while the fl being great at hunting, fighting and swimming. The leads work well both in romantic scenes and comedic ones, so the scenes are actually sweet and funny, not cringey. The fl being the hero and the ml as the love interest, which is rare in sageuk was refreshing.
But its still up to you if its worth the watch, though it seems you have made up your mind. So this is for those curious/planning to check this out.
Mine's the one where his head was down and she looked like scolding him cause it fits their characters and kinda goes well with that interview where he went "honey, I'm sorry." lol
Aside from ml and 2fl, this is my first drama with fl, 2ml and 3ml. So far 2ml is nailing it, both actor and character. None of the later eps were as good as the pilot but he made them interesting.
Though I feel ml has more chemistry with 2fl (and more tension with 2ml fr) I don't want them together cause while his gazes are longing, hers is the opposite. But I understand the people that do, because despite the indications that they're not for eo, 2fl was introduced and acted so well that they unintentionally made some viewers root for her instead. They'd have to do some reveal/twist to sway those viewers back to the leads.
I'm here rooting for the sisters. I liked the complication of them being reincarnated as family. The fl being protective as the older one, and 2fl as the younger wanting to be normal/independent.
Overall, cinematography and plot is good but some dialogues/scenes are poor/cringy. Though its good so far, I feel something lacking. And as much as I'd like to help with the ratings, I only rate once I complete a drama. Hoping this one won't be predictable and will have a good ending.
@Shadowfax Hi! Missed u here! U changed your name haha. Ever since the teaser came out, I’ve been rereading…
I feel welcomed omg~ I did, rewatched my fave trilogy and the way those movies have me in a chokehold even after 20 yrs is.. lol And I've been avoiding the novel cause I'm already waiting for the LAs of other novels I already read, I can't afford to add this one too.
Viewership of all weekend dramas dropped, not just bulgasal's. Probably due to the awards being aired (kbs, mbc…
So that's what you meant, cause I get news about ratings and I watched the awards shows but not the dramas you mentioned so I got confused. But didn't the drop started after the pilot and not just this week..? Other shows are steady or rising, even Uncle and King of Tears which are on the same timeslot are doing really well. Seems like double digits will be an uphill battle. Though I want it to do well, even if not as well as Jirisan.

All 3 award shows were thu-fri and Red Sleeve was a different timeslot. But disregarding timeslot the other dramas are doing well, breaking their own ratings, even the controversial one. Hopefully it does, but I get the knetz sentiments.
I saw the reuters of LS pushed off a bridge into the water on a cold day, so its not surprising to see her choking/almost drowning in the indoor shoot. I can't even imagine how heavy her clothes were and how many times she had to shoot. And now seeing WL too being hit for real, the making video gave me what I wanted but at the same time made me impatient for the drama to air. Every scene was beautiful even the sad ones. And I probably sound like a broken player to regulars on this page but again, THE CHEMISTRY!
After 5 months, from summer to winter, the cast, crew and whole team worked hard to make this drama good. Looking forward to the brilliant stars this summer~
people are watching in on netflix korea and kpop twitter fans are creating accounts to downvote current shows…
It is a factor but I guess I expected it to still do well like other dramas available on streaming platforms esp. being a weekend drama. And I've also read knetz comments about it. But yeah, the mass downvoting is ridiculous.
I'm feeling more chemistry and tension with ml and 2fl. Hopefully the sisters relationship won't be severed by the whole situation because I actually like the complication of them being reincarnated as family. But the ratings dropping both viewership and here on mdl...
I only rate after I complete a drama so endings are important for me. They could've given viewers atleast a first round of fighting then when the characters think its done, comes the cliffhanger. That would've shown exhaustion, confusion and despair. They can still keep the "its not the sun, its the weather" thing in S2 while still giving the audience a climax instead of that... nothing. 5+ hours and all that prep for nothing.
Congrats Yeonmoz! Best New Actor - Rowoon Best Young Actress - Choi Myungbin Popularity Award - Eunbin Popularity Award - Rowoon Best Couple - HwiWoon And to the top honor, Top Excellence Award - Park Eunbin
