But with Guozijian, her ml (and the rest of male cast) fans are pretty chill. Last year during filming she said she had fun and we saw that through her/Guozijian's douyin. Maybe that's why she's comfortable going on variety with XKC.

SOTUS is good and I prefer it than the other Thai bls in the past 3 years. But just this year, another Thai bl came out that I enjoyed and liked more than SOTUS.
I haven't seen any of the HIStory series but a friend has actually rec the 3rd one.

The thing with HYX is its high profile. The promo by 10cent, brand collaborations, plus the content of the novel. So it's not surprising if it was still subjected to stricter rules even after changing the gender of one of the cast to appease the censorship.
On the other hand, SHL was handled by yk/production quite well. It's been my basis on what can/can't pass censorship, but now with the new rules, we'll have to see how HYX turns out. Though I think other low profile bls might get released first.

TGCF is also popular but its content is different. And knowing JXGZ's director, its gonna be tame. As long as none of the cast/production mess up, then it'll depend on how iqiyi handles it. And ofc the rules, it could calm down after some time or it could get even stricter.

This is late but, Encantadia is an enchanted realm where magical beings live. It's four major territories have their own specialties and each keep one of the 4 gems.

The setting is like wuxia with 4 major sects and their elements of cultivation (fire, water, wood, etc) and a powerful weapon that was divided to 4 for the sects to keep for peace and balance.
Except they don't exist in the same place with humans. The human realm (modern world) is different and can only be accessed by a portal.

Lireo where fairies live, keeps the gem of air.
Sapiro where healers live, keeps the gem of earth.
Hathoria where blacksmiths live, keeps the gem of fire.
And Adamya where hobbit-like creatures live, keeps the gem of water.

It was peaceful at first, until Hathoria wanted all the gemstones for themselves.
War happened. So the rest of the gemstones were taken to Lireo for safekeeping.
The queen appointed each of her daughters as keepers of the gemstones.
Those 4 are the mains/fls of this fantasy drama.

The plot begins when the 1st princess (fire) rebels because the queen chose the 2nd princess (air) as the successor instead of her. And other arcs like the 2nd princess (air) and 3rd princess (water) falling for the same guy, etc. Basically the sisters having a falling out and if/how they'll come together again while everyone fights for power.

This is a requel (remake and sequel) of the 2005 original, with the same director and writer.

I thought the additional rules back in Feb was it, but I guess there's more.
Personally, I don't mind the wait for HYX and WIK because I'm not a fan of 2ha and SPL but JXGZ is different because TGCF is in my top 5 danmei.
I guess I'll just have to forget ever getting another SHL. That was just one time when the stars perfectly aligned.

It has been a while since I read the novel, but I can still recall the exact scenes from the novel they are filming based on the reuters.
And it made me look forward to this LA even more.

No wonder HYX and WIK still hasn't aired yet.
I was hoping for JXGZ|HuaLian to be like SHL|WenZhou but after seeing the director, they'll probably be more like CQL|WangXian.
But now I guess I should instead hope this actually airs in the next 2 years.

As a horror enthusiast, this movie didn't scare me when I saw it back then. But it's still suspenseful and good for a horror movie.

This is the only Korean horror movie that actually scared me when I saw this back then, because dolls creep me out. The prettier the doll is, the creepier it is in my eyes.
I was the target audience of this movie. And it worked, this is one of my faves.
