absolutely... one think i have found on mdl is that reviews honestly rarely if ever reflect the content of a show/drama. i especially relate and adore that this drama has a good focus on the victims and their family.

The vast majority of 'non-western' cultures can be classified as prohibiting 'homosexual activity' or the portrayal of it. And as you stated yourself, it's the majority opinion or consensus. And as you stated, a minority or contrary opinion, an opinion heavily focused by colonialism and neo-colonalism atitudes.
The assumption (which is mostly pushed by "anti-colonalism" western literature or thought) that the rest of world, the vast majority of which was colonized to hold such embeeded values is wholy patronizing and a twisted version of "white savorism." and it takes someone's own colonized mind to conjure with it. Non-western societities aren't minions, we have our own values, and such values have been prominment before any introduction of western contact.

Refering to "homosexuality" as an identity is an entirely western concept, in most non-western cultures, it is an activity dispuraged. Defining one's worth on preverse activity is a solely modern western conception. And as you stated these terms originated in western cultures. Literature and thought, what originates terminology originates conceptions and beliefs, beliefs that you are colonized to believe as absolute truth. Assuming that there's a universal experience that can disregard cultural beliefs and values without any objective basis, is not different than western christians forcing their beliefs to save the "savages." Different side, same coin.

Yeah, the majority enforces the cultural layout. Such conceptions of "decency", "equality", "respect", and "rights" are entirely subjective to the neo-colonalist language and thought. One cannot deny history and reframe to fit within such dogma. Going to different countries and forcing the minority basis and and claiming those against it are "immoral" is no different than westerns Christians wanting to "advocate" (force as it is done here) "morality" to the savage non-whites.
