who is jade the manageršŸ¤”
jade is the producer. the boss from the TV company that produces JInAkin's series. The one who smokes and looks very hot. Akin's friend who always protect him.

I've been interested in this drama since watching the trailer. It's not that the trailer was that interesting. I'm just intrigued by the village life that seems to be the heart of the story. And, the episode pilot is pretty solid! This become something I look forward to after Top Form.

I honestly enjoy this so far. Better than I expected. Love the visual style and the camera work in some scenes. I especially like KitShane's story line and the characters. They have depth. Though I know the more popular couple is KimMon.

The actor who plays Kit, his acting is the most impressive despite of being new. The way his eyes express emotions is incredible. It looks mature.

They hinted so much about Jade and Lit's story, there should be a second season right? I want to see who Lit is.
I also love Jade. Even as a supporting character, he has such a strong presence. Toey as Jade is commendable as well! Every single of his scene is a steal. If Jade's love story become one of the mains in the second season, I do think it'll be awesome! Please?!

Hi! Have you watched ep 10? My prediction is wrong. There's nothing to complete the missing picture. Haha... Too bad. But I love ep 10 so much so I overlooked it. I'll just consider that lack of detail the fault of ep 9. Hehe...

Is it just me or was this week's epsiode plain boring
Personally, ep 10 is one of my favorites episode. it's like in my top 3. I even like this episode more than the ep 9 which to me felt a bit rushed. I do understand why it can be boring for some people. But I love how the portrayal of grief in this episode. I think, they are very brave to dedicate the entire episode on Akin's loss, grief and acceptance. It makes this part of the story important to Akin's character development and to his relationship with Jin, and even to Jin's development as well.

Oh my god! Episode 10 is so good! I love how serene and mature it is. I've prepared myself if this series go downhill in the later episodes like many shows I've watched in the past. But no. Despite of feeling a bit rushed for ep 9, nothing that can significantly lower my rating happened. Ep 10 is even better than the previous ones! In fact, it's in my top 3 episodes from this entire series.

I've praised SmartBoom a lot, so this time let me praise P' Boss. In this episode, I'm once again reminded of his vision. The way he captured Akin's loss, grief, and acceptance is so delicate. I love how committed he is to dedicate his directional debut in series to Akin's journey. I can feel that he cares about Akin a lot. That everything about Akin, even a single emotion, is important to him. That everyone in Akin's world, matters. Just like what Khun Yai wrote in the letter: Akin is the best thing. As a result, P' Boss has created such a captivating and deep slice of life drama that no other BL can compare. There might be better shows out there, but Top Form has brought the best of Akin's story. It is therefore unique and different.

Of course we have to also thanks the writers. But in my opinion, without his visionary mind, this arc isn't going to turn as beautiful as what we saw. I've become a fan of him and I wish he'd get plenty opportunities to helm other series or even a movie. BL or not. Looking forward to his future works!

Prediction for the last episode: I think there's no more break up. But I do think Sigma will use this opportunity to tie Jin into some kind of a slave contract in exchange for the rights. Not sure if it's going to be successful. But pretty sure Jin will try to do something this time.

I heard that this drama will have the second and third season? Maybe we'll get into the story of Jade and his mysterious man, Lit, in the upcoming season?

Actually when Lit's voice first made an appearance, I had a crazy thought: what if Lit is played by Jeff Satur? Because Lit is a musician and music producer, and Toey and Jeff were lovers in The Paradise of Thorn. Jeff is also associated with WeTV because of Chuang. Well, I know it's unlikely. Especially because Lit's voice in the phone is too rough, different from Jeff's. Jeff is also too big of a star.

Honestly, Lit is the one character I can't wait to see. Pretty sure he'll make a cameo appearance in episode 11.

Yes yes! Especially because this episode is crucial for Akin's character development and the next phase of their relationship. What I love about Top Form is the focus. Especially how they handle critical episodes. Say episode 5 or 7. It's so careful and detailed, leaving as little hole as possible. For me personally, I can almost see the step by step thinking in the director's mind. It makes us, audience, care about the characters and their relationship. Despite having a pretty simple story, they manage to make it depth, gripping and important.
I have a suspicion though, in the episode 10 we're gonna get some scenes from this episode's arc. Maybe from Jin's perspective or anything that will complete the missing pieces.
Hopefully.

aah this makes sense! thank you. because i refused to believe that the director make such mistake. His attention to details has been so good so far. It's like out of character if he did that mistake.

Hey! Episode 9 is much better than I thought. It's painful and intense, but it's also heartwarming and somewhat funny. Love the interaction between Akin and Jade, as well as Akin and P'Sine's family. One of the things I love about Top Form is, even the side characters act so well. P'Sine's wife and daughter may only appear in this episode, and yet you can tell that they are close with Akin. Boom really has chemistry with everybody!

This episode is a lesson learnt for the naive and idiotic Akin (said this lovingly) to rely on others sometimes, instead of always doing things by himself. People around him seem to understand and accept how careless he can be, and protect him behind his back. I just wish after they arrive home, he and Jin will have a proper talk. Jin will tell him off and make him promise to carry the weigh together.

Jin always knew Akin didn't mean everything. He's obviously hurt because Akin chose to walk away, but deep down he understands what's in Akin's heart. He's sure of it after Akin's gone. He clearly overheard Akin's conversation with that blogger. Their encounter in the lift looks like Jin trying to make sure of Akin's feeling. I wonder what would Jin do if Akin didn't come forward and put that ring on him. Would Jin try to pursue Akin again as he usually did? But I'm glad that Akin brave himself and claim Jin back. Please don't do anything silly again, Akin.

My only note is, the pace is too rushed and the plot seems to not developed enough. I feel like the plot can go deeper if it's weaved more meticulously. In term of writing, I would say episode 9 is pretty sloppy. Also, Akin is seen to wear the moon necklace when he's visiting P'Sine's house. I assume he's not supposed to wear it since he left it on Jin's bed table. Did the production team make a mistake? Well, it's not disappointing but it's a shame that such an error happened. It's the detail that shouldn't be left out. If it's not a mistake, there should be an explanation for it in the next episode.

I don't understand why this has such high ratings because, so far, it's just been purely annoying, both the characters…
Hi! One of the high voter here. Can I defend Jin?

From the beginning, Jin is described as soulless. He didn't have passion nor knew what he wants until he met Akin who gave him life from that touch in the first episode. Akin gave him purpose and a reason to live. Maybe it's wrong to only feel meaning in life because of someone. But, people like Jin are more common than we think. I am one of those people. Of course, I still try to live my life to the best of my ability despite of haven't found someone yet.

So did Jin.
At some point in life, Jin might lack direction, just like many young people out there. But, he always knew what he needs for himself. Despite didn't know where to go, he seemed to be grounded and mature. He owned his life and took responsibility of it.
Jin knows when to speak up and not. When he found what he wants, he fight for it. After he let go of his anger towards Akin and assure himself that Akin just love him as much, he went to find proof that can protect Akin from Johnny's dirty play.

Assuming Akin didn't like him back, I'm pretty sure he'd be doing just fine. He'd be heartbroken, but I suppose he'd continue living his life on his term like what he used to do and always do.

Jin is not written to only revolve his life around Akin. It is Jin himself who decide to make Akin his purpose and north star.
So no, he's not crawling back to Akin without self respect, nor is he a mere loyal dog with no personality. He's just so sure of himself, of his heart, and of Akin's heart. Deep down, he understands Akin. Isn't that a very strong trait to have? How many of us have that much faith in someone and in ourselves?

For Akin, well, I understand Akin and where he comes from. I relate to Akin the most to the point I feel like I'm Akin when watching the series. That being said, I still think that sometimes he can be an idiot. He's so used to put himself aside and carry all of the burden alone. He keeps things to himself and rarely express his true feelings and thoughts, so he's often misunderstood. Doesn't make him a weak character, it's just his flaws.
But, he does show some character development, no?
