you seem to be an aspiring screen writer :) but if you claim there are million ways then suggest them :) Imo the…
So now I can’t be sympathetic toward a character losing her leg? And do you actually want me to list all "a million ways" the writers could’ve handled it differently? :) That’s obviously a figure of speech, not sure if you're just being literal on purpose. Do you perhaps look at the sky and look for cats and dogs when people say it's raining cats and dogs?
But since we're going there: yes, we could’ve still had the social justice angle and shown YR’s leadership without Hae Ja losing her leg. For example, she could’ve gone into a coma, or been seriously injured but ultimately recovered. The impact on YR’s character development could have remained just as powerful without resorting to something that felt excessive or needlessly cruel.
I get what you're saying about YR's compassion and big-picture thinking, and I agree, that’s important. If they'll pick up Hae Ja later and her lost leg becomes a part of the story, then everything's fine. But if it was just a way to get rid of the character, then it's pretty cruel in my opinion.
Yeah but calling her Ugly is not helping... he just never respected her enough...
Except he brought money for the family when they needed it, got her brother a job, makes sure she gets back safe, helped her get a reporter for the strike. Writers didn’t tell us how Jeong Hyun got to know that family, so we don’t know how or when he started calling her Ugly. He’s just keeping himself back. In fact, his method is working pretty well if you too think he’s not in love enough.
Still have no idea why the rating is so low , not that it matters the ratings aren’t very reliable anyway but…
The synopsis hints towards a love triangle, which people do not like a lot these days. So they instinctively down rate, or so the comments said when this premiered. It is a good show though, if not more than 8.5, it still deserves something more than 7.9.
That’s the teen actor, 7 years have passedThey are going to have teen romance among the children (most likely)
I searched for her after posting here. They’ve got the wrong Park Ji Yun. Her name is Park Ji Yun, but they don’t have a profile for her at MDL. The one listed in the cast is not the actual Park Ji Yun, unless the child and teen actresses have the same name.
They downgraded my Sang Cheol to a bare comedic relief character. At least give him someone equal, Yeong Rye has plenty of friends from her previous job.
Just having a look through the comments over the couples debate, I'll throw in my two cents for anyone getting…
Jung Hyun has not taken a support role after School 2017. I think MDL has wrongly listed him, first as a cameo and then as a support role here. Somebody also said that in JTBC’s site, he’s listed as the 4th main role. Even I think he’s too big of an actor to take on a support role.
I am surprised this smarty Yeong Sik has not yet caught on to his best friend. I thought he’ll immediately catch it when Jeong Hyeong ditched him to get Yeong Rye.
Am I the only one who's really bored? The episodes last 1 hour and 18 minutes, but nothing happens. I'm not saying…
I echo this. But I am the one to blame here for finding it average. My attention span is so fried, I can’t keep watching it continuously. I’ve to pause for sometime, do something else and then get back.

So far, everything has been so symbolic in this drama.
