When "he fell first but she fell harder" went wrong ðŸ˜I'm so affected and my heart breaks for Yido 💔…
Even I wanted to see YD and JM as the final couple. But I strongly support JM for his decision.
Poor guy didn’t even have a chance to talk to her for first 2 days. If he had, I think he’d have realized sooner. YD wasn’t interested in him, she went to him because she was rejected from another guy. All this while, she didn’t even reciprocate his feelings, it’s tragic that when she decided, she was hit with the truth.
But JM wasn’t wrong for what he did. It’s better than staying together and being miserable. It’s just that if he had the chance to talk to her, I think things wouldn’t be the way they are.
I came here just after Yi Do and Jeong Mok’s date in ep 7. Jeong Mok is very calculating, and I support him for that. He came on this show to find a partner, not a fling. He should of course be very picky. If Yi Do doesn’t see the world in the same way as he does, then of course, they shouldn’t be together.
He wants a lifelong partner, who’ll have to carry him through the deaths of his people, his ups and downs, he should definitely be VERY PICKY.
He doesn’t change so far in the released episodes. He fumbles all the girls that were interested in him, and he is struggling with the girl he likes.
I am not 100% sure about Jeong-mok's sincerity and sometimes he seems rather calculating to me. But he might be…
Initially, I wanted them to be for each other, I still do. But after watching the later episodes, I think both of them are using each other just as ego boosters.
Okay, finished it. It was good. I am not very familiar with Japanese history, so it was hard for me to keep up with the war stuff. If both were fighting for light, then why were they fighting each other? Why did Yanada try to change everything? I think he did explain it, but I couldn't quite catch it well.
People saying how they lost more than they were trying to gain… I think I get the writer's vision. They are high school students. They wouldn't know what will happen to them. They were up against trained warriors. Yes, they had the advantage of modern warfare, but they were still kids, naturally, they'll struggle to last.
The acting though? I could not find a single flaw. The secondary actors were as good as the mains. I think, after a long time, I saw this in any media where everybody was equal in terms of acting.
Honestly, rather than a movie, this would have been good as a series, they have so much content to explore. A 10 episode series would do magic. They really had to rush with everything. They can explore why the stone was there, how history happened initially, they can introduce individual characters, how history changed later, they can go deeper into Fuwa's background.
I am 15 minutes into the movie. I see the ratings are not too good, maybe I am too quick to judge, but in a really long time, I am watching something original. An entire school being caught in a historical battle? Coool!
I felt her stiffness was a good reflection of the character she was playing. A world-weary young woman with deep…
I don't mean to criticize the character she was playing. Indeed, she wouldn't be very happy after what happened all her life. When I began this series, I was actually content with her acting, until much later, maybe around ep 6 or 7.
I have only watched her here, and formed my opinion based on this drama. Just like the King, the Eldest prince, In Seon and the Imugi, she also had several moments where she was possessed with different spirits. The King, the Prince, In Seon and Yun Gab turned into different people upon possession, which I could very well see in their acting. I was actually amazed by the kid, he doesn't have much experience compared to the seniors he worked with, but he performed his character pretty well. But she didn't deliver that kind of a performance.
If you pick out a frame from her playing Yeo Ri and her playing Yeo Ri being possessed by vastly different characters, you wouldn't or at least I wouldn't notice any difference. I'd think it's Yeo Ri as usual. As to why I said she wasn't the right choice along YSJ, whenever he swapped between Yun Gab and Imugi, you can immediately notice it. In that particular scene where both characters were struggling to gain control over the body, YSJ didn't even need to say a thing in order to let us know who currently controls the body.
I am not saying Bona is a bad actress, since I don't have enough material to form an opinion on her acting, generally speaking. I am just saying she was quite weak in portraying multiple characters as compared to the people she was working along. with.

I'd be no. 1 in line if they make this a series.

Jisu and Hyun Kyu
Yi Do and Jeon Mok
Yeo Myung and Jae Yun, I might be wrong with the name but the couple who skated together later in ep 2.
A yearning man like Jeon Mok, where are you for me?
