Kim Ji Hoon unfortunately does not perfectly deliver a royal accent. His accent does not distinguish him from other people at the palace. Such a peasant accent. His acting is good though. I saw that this was his first role as a King, then it all made sense.

One thing unique about THP is they clear everything asap. They don't carry on misunderstandings and span them throughout all episodes. That means I can expect them to show new stuff every episode. I am eagerly looking forward to how they unfold rest of the story.

Childhood connections in historicals makes sense, actually. World was smaller back then, people hardly left their towns or villages, so the pool of people you'd meet will be very small.

If this was a modern drama, maybe I'd be annoyed too. But since it's a historical, you can expect childhood connections.
