I was watching ep 17 full focused and seriously then suddenly there were credits rolling and I was like no way the ep ended I just started watching and then I later realized they were starting credits lol

Wei yan is totally a evil character he orchestrated the whole tragedy in which ml's father also died 16 years ago. He also attacked xie zheng because he was looking into it. As for grand tutor li in the novel he is power hungry which leads to him supporting wrong people (qi min) and also resulting in lot of people dying.

I guess they mixed zheng wenchang and li huaian's characters..! I really hope the water fight scene is still present.

Zhang yuehui didn't deserve to die like that. It was too cruel!!! I was bawling at the end.....

I think zhang miaoyi is a lot more introverted than zhou yiran in real life lol whereas her characters are totally opposite of it!

He does wear prosthetic legs most of the time tho

ML works with some bad people and then surrenders himself and goes to jail just a little after they get together without telling the FL. It's not typically a breakup though cause FL finds him after a year or so and promises to wait for him. It is pretty angsty overall tho!!

I hope they stay true to the essence of the story.. I know everything cannot be followed but uhhhh..... anyways I hope it can be made well!!!

The novel was soo good!

It was all a misunderstanding. FL father's friend's daughter was the one who wanted to go on a blind date with him. She calls herself as Nie Chengyuan's daughter which brings the misunderstanding.

He sees her at a party and falls for her, later his friend calls him and tells Nie Chengyuan's (fl's father) daughter saw him at the party and wanted to go on a blind date with him (It is in the 1st ep). On the way to the date he gets into an accident and she doesn't even visit him (I don't remember in which ep but when he is in the hospital his friend tells him that she is busy so she doesn't have time to visit him). He is angry because he is severely injured and she didn't even visit him and she is insincere and stuff also partly blames her for the accident.

Ep 11/12 where they meet during the wedding and he says many hurtful things to her yet again and she declares she is over him!

They made zhuang xu a saint here, I remember he basically insults her infront of all her friends for leeching off her family in the novel... which is why I never liked him.

Love how real and natural the fl visuals were!!!

It is ongoing but many people have already read the novel. All the nit picking is due to many of them comparing it to the novel!

Wait the intro song was by the male lead and outro was by the female lead????

At one point it felt like qiqi was just friends with huan'er just cause she wanted to get close to song cong. Even after the fight she never really cared about huan'er but just was totally focused on song cong.
