everything you wrote makes so much sense especially that last part about mental integrity ..characters behaving like helpless victims and standing by as props ( especially FLs) needs to stop..
Ohh btw I have already watched Hidden Love ...forgot to mention Sang Zhi in d above comment..in fact sh'es d perfect example of how to deal with your brother who asserts his dominance over your love/personal life ..

I usually don't enjoy love triangles specially when they are not done well but this is one of those rare shows where I am really enjoying the interactions of the FL and d 2nd ML and can imagine them together...and I usually don't like uptight righteous characters but Seo Yul is really well written and acted and that makes him very likeable !!

i'm so glad I continued coz im at ep 9 and I'm loving it now!!

I'm so done with this show ...12 eps in the leads have had barely 5 mins together ..on top of that the FL is just too ridiculous ...that man deserves way better ..every time she sees him sh'es either swpet away by her brother or she becomes a coward...I love Jang Ki Yong but even he's not enought to save this !! The past story was wayyyyyy better..wish the entire drama was just that !!
but credit should be given where it's due..hats off to Nam Da Reum who played the younger version of ML to perfection..he was d best thing in dis show by a mile !!

ohhh my god!!! thank you so much for this !! I just came to the comment section just after watching that scene looking for comments related to it ...a minute back she was all "don't take the burden alone come to me tell me blah blah blah" and just when her brother comes and hits him she stands there like a mannequin and doesn't even utter a word in his defense saying she was the one who hugged him !! I hate characters like this and especially when an FL is shown to be like that it makes me not to want to root for der love story..having arrived on this show after watching such fierce FLs in You are my glory and Lighter and Princess, I don't think I'l be able to watch this !!

same !! everyday I keep going back to it to watch my fav scenes ( which are plenty)..I mean Ilove hidden love n all but this drama was another level altogether..il even go to d extent to say its d best Cdrama I have watched since You Are My Glory ( haha nothing can beat that though)

I saw a lot of comments regarding the bff and how annoying she was and also how ppl were so not bothered about the 2ndry couple..I entered thinking maybe ppl are exaggerating..she can't be that bad...Ohh boy was I wrong!!..I understand d backlash against her character..10 eps in she's already getting on my last nerve...!! and I couldn't give 2 cents for her love story with the other annoying character of d show !!
Thankfully d main leads are excellent and make up for everything !!

Just finished watching this ..overall a very enjoyable, well made drama..let me get a few complaints that I have out of the way before I start on the positives...the writing was a little inconsistence towards the end and kind of felt like the writers ran out of ideas..it didn't feel like the last 3 to 4 episodes were written by the same people who wrote the remaining episodes..also a few of the subplots were very unnecessary and were not wrapped up effectively..\
now let me talk about the positives and that cannot be without mentioning the biggest strength of the show which is its two leads who are excellent in their roles and have such sizzling chemistry with each other..their intimate moments felt so real that I felt like I was intruding on an actual couple ..Gina Jin as Lou Na was a very well written FL who was independent, strong and kind of broke the stereotype of the girl needing a knight in shining armor wherein here it was her who played that role..coming to our ML..this is my first drama of Wang An Yu and I'm already a fan..brilliant acting accompanied by a very well written character brought forth a very lovable, goofy, adorable ML whom you couldn't help but fall in love with...the writing was generally good especially in the first 3/4 th of the drama..the sports event were well shot with viewers feeling edge of the seat excitement..there were tons of cute romantic moments which didn't feel cringeworthy at all...l I would have given it an 8 but I give it a 9 ( the extra 1 point is just for how amazing Wang An Yu was in the drama)!!

ohh my godd!! how did I not realize that the leads are the two princes/workers from coffee prince !!

this is d first person I saw saying Lee Do Hyun wasn't good in Hotel Del Luna...his pairing with IU and that performance literally stole the show..their couple was liked more than d original main cp...also I don't think Lee Do Hyun needs to even prove now how amazing an actor he is !!

After postponing for a long time I finally got d chance to watch this and having just finished it, I wanted to convey my thoughts...I went through a whole rollercoaster of emotions with this one..there were moments I was giggling away like a child, swooning at my screen then there were moments where I was bawling my eyes out..there were episodes where I was at the edge of my seat and characters whom I literally wanted to get into the screen and smack..but what made this show extra special for me was d FL..yes the ML is all hot and prideful and genius and everything but Zhu Yun stole the show for me...the determination she had for a girl who who looked timid and innocent and was not to forget privileged... the way she was ready to bear and sacrifice anything for the love she had for a man whom she mentally considered her King is the kind of unconditional love I wish to have for someone one day...Li Xun wouldn't have been himself or wouldn't have achieved what he deserved if it weren't for this woman standing by him ready to go through any lengths for him..in the process she nearly destroyed herself ( which I don't condone) but I tried understanding from her perspective and then I could see why she was ready to do anything for this man who basically changed her whole life and made her into a far more independent and capable person than she herself thought she was !!
Like others I don't hate Gao's character because he was not an evil person intrinsically but he had such an inferiority complex that he let everything good about him get ruined just to prove to this one man who had unintentionally made him feel inferior that he too could be as capable as him !!
A beautiful and epic love story with very rich and complex characters and a soul stirring OST!!

watch lighter and princess they said !! it's a romantic show they said !! what they didn't tell you was how much f**** stressful it's going to be...im at ep 20 and I can't seem to move ahead !!

decided to revisit this ( for d millionth time) after finishing Hidden Love and WIFTY and even though I loved both those dramas, my go to comfort show and the top spot will always be reserved for YAMG..there is something about this show which just makes me come back to it time and again !!

Please you don't talk..I have read all your interactions and everything going on with you ..you're quite famous on this page you know..but I guess that's what you wanted ..to stand out ..maybe it makes you feel important ..
