I read a few stupid comments by people who I guess want attention so they will blabber anything..they say the FL shaped all her decisions around d ML and d ML did very little in return ...I posted this in reply to one of those comments but I also want to post in general here so that people coming with the idea to slander the show based on this stupid concept can read it..shape her life according to him it seems !! what nonsense!! what life decisions did she make according to him? this is what happens when you don't watch the show but still want to sound woke and trendy so you just read d synopsis and come and blabber stuff ....she did chose the university initially coz of him but later when she decided to give up on her feelings she still went there coz of her major being better there and did not even keep in touch with him..how's that making a decision shaped around him? will you please enlighten what other decision did she make centered around him? the internship?...she wanted to do an internship either ways ..he may be have been a contributing factor in her choosing the one in his hometown than the one she was getting back at her place but I would hardly call that "shaping " her life around him.. meanwhile this man rents an expensive place near her dorm so she doesn't get tired when he could have easily continued living in the place he was living in..he also gives up his entire job everything that he has worked for to move to her hometown and starts his own company just so he can provide for her in a much better way and also so she can live close to her parents...and she is the one making sacrifices and shaping her life decisions around him?

you can be in a key class based on your academic results..they don't distribute students based on how serious you are ..a lot of people are super smart to not study at all except at exam times and still get amazing results ..he becomes a doctor later..you think that's easy?
Finished it just now ...watched 2 amazing dramas side by side ..this and when I fly towards you ..though I liked WIFTY a bit more this was just as spectacular...now there's a huge gap that I don't know what I will fill with...coming to this series ...what a heartwarming love story ...the pure innocent crush of a girl was so beautifully portrayed... I also loved d fact that in the beginning when she was still minor they refrained from showing any romantic feelings from the ML.....it was just pure adoration for someone he considered a sister like younger friend ...the progression in the love story was so organic you can literally see the ML starting to develop feelings and also the exact moment when it transitioned from brotherly adoration to something more for him...I love how the FL was cute and childlike (not childish..huge difference) when it came to her loved ones but also knew where to take a stand for herself ...the acting the ost everything was sooo good! Definetly one of my all time favorites and one which I will watch multiple times !!
A man secure enuf in his masculinity to carry his girlfriends purse without caring about judgment from others !! Jia Xu just raises standards with each action!!

okay you knew what you were getting into ..it wasn't a surprise or a twist at d end ..to watch an entire show based on a concept that was clear from the very beginning itself and then coming and complaining about it !!
CZY should not be allowed to wear glasses !! like it should be illegal at dis pont !! i had to rewind and see the scene again coz I couldn't concentrate !!

Usually I take MDL ratings with a pinch of salt but this is one of the rare times where the rating actually reflects the quality of the series..in fact I would say this rating is less for how good this drama is...no angst, no unnecessary conflicts..pure love and friendship as it should be..the FL was so charismatic that you couldn't help but fall in love with her..the ML was d definition of boyfriend material...loved d secondary couple and thought they were really amazing which is quite rare for me..overall a beautiful, lively, heartwarming drama that will make you smile and cry happy tears throughout !! bravo !! 10/10 without any reservations!!
