In the contrary, I love NJs existence in the show. Her openness to Ung but not neglecting his feelings makes her…
Hi...just to tell u I judged her too quickly because she came off too strong in the beginning..but I guess that was my prejudice talking becuase I would have loved the same action if the FL would be the one doing it..I was scared that she was going to be one of those annoying characters who would be like I can't give up on him even though I know he doesn't like me..such characters giver me anxiety and spoil my fun of watching the drama ..that's usually how these characters go..but I guess I underestimated the brilliance of the writers and questioned them for having written such a character ...right from ep 11 from her scene with Yeon soo, I started understanding her crush in a positive way and her conversation with Ji Ung as u mentioned was very beautiful and I loved how they both shared their pain of unrequited love...
I swear that ending was horrible ...i really enjoyed the drama till like ep 8 or 9 and then it just started going…
that can be a possibility but frankly I'm happy that they didn't go for the usual 16 ep route coz that would have beena disaster..the show had already lost its charm by ep 10 and the writing from there was pure lazy ..i don't think they could have come up with a coherent story if the eps were stretched till 16
I hate the way it ended! it felt like the story wasn't done, and it just cut us off!
I swear that ending was horrible ...i really enjoyed the drama till like ep 8 or 9 and then it just started going downhill concluding with that absurd ending !!
That boggles my mind as well. I know people want happy endings no matter what, but this one was handled well and…
thank you for this ....see there are dramas that unnecessarily have a sad ending just to create a shock value and i hate that ..i have no issues with a bittersweet melancholic ending but it should be well deserved and earned and not out of the blue ...twenty five twenty one set the stage for the ending it had from a few episodes before ..if u watch the last few episodes carefully ul see nuances that hint at the kind of ending the show was going to have ...so u don't feel startled by what happened ...and that is an example of a well written work..but no some people just want a fairy tale happy ending no matter whether it is justified or not..
did they change writers in the last 3 episodes? how did a show which had such crisp writing and good humor suddenly turn into a bland affair with lazy writing and cliché galore..that ending was horrible ..how many times will we have the same trope of separation due to circumstances and then romantic reunion after a year or two..the first 3/4th of the show was really good and I enjoyed it a lot...the 2nd couple stole the show ...also the friendship between the 2 FLs (sismance) is something very rare in Kdramas
im at ep 9 and I'm loving the show so far..i just have one issue and that is why would the writers ruin a beautifuly written melancholic story by having a cliché clingy can't take no for an answer character like NJ..like what is her entire point other than being annoying for the viewers.. her character is single handedly destroying the entire comfort mode I'm having otherwise .. edit : my perspective changed completely after ep 11
Seems to me like youre not passing on Historical Dramas, in fact youre on a roll awaiting Back From The Brink.
this is a public forum...not ur private group chat ..so I do not need your permission to "insert" myself into any conversation..and please the kind of tone and language you have used (for example -"I couldn't care less") is negative taken in any context...also didn't seem like 2 adults talking ...felt like one adult and one teen going through mood swings 😂
deciding to watch coffee prince on a hunch after seeing it in netflix's recommended section was the best decision I made related to watching a series or drama..8 eps in and I'm absolutely in love with the show...also the way this show is pushing the boundaries on homoerotic subtext and to imagine a show this bold came in 2007 when shows even today are scared to show such relationships is actually commendable!! Highly recommended to anyone who's thinking to watch this !!!
I can't believe i never started this thinking it might be popular but it's old..it won't be good..i'm so glad that I started this..im just 3eps in and its sooooo gud...like now I understand why this show has such a fan following...also a big shout out to the actress who is nailing her part so well...there is so much conviction in her acting that at times I completely forget that she's actually a girl and see her as the guy she's pretending to be..
just curious ...why only the opinion of the people you mentioned..what will be different about their opinions…
ok so far i'm on ep 8 and I don't see any queer storyline..there is possibility of one happening based on what I'm guessing but that will just b treated as an issue as the story is not focused on that aspect
tho the FL is kinda lack in acting but her character is great beside being an introverted one, she was strong,…
thanks a lot for clarifying this ..I think I will keep it on hold for now coz I wont be enjoying this straight after YAMG ..once Yu Tu and Jing Jing have left my mind in peace I will give this another chance 😂
35% of "9-10"ratings are from 13 years-old to 17 years-old...
i'm so sorry for being so defensive..I thought you were belittling the show's rating by saying that 35 percent is by teenagers who don't count much so the rating is hyped ...yes everyone whom I know who has watched the show has loved it from teens to elder people
tho the FL is kinda lack in acting but her character is great beside being an introverted one, she was strong,…
ok just tell me if the romance part is worth ..like I enjoy the gaming and gang banter but my primary purpose for watching the show was to see a romantic plotline
I dont know whether her character is written like that or her acting is just unimpressive but i'm really not feeling anything for the female lead ...and however good the male lead or the story is you need to have a strong FL to make a romance work...maybe im at fault for watching this right after you are my glory(which i adored) where dilraba was so convincing and impactful as the FL...can someone tell me if this gets better...im at ep 6 right now!!
its taking me extra time to watch each episode as i have to go back and read what they said as my attention is constantly only on rowoon's face !!! why did this man have to be so beautiful
edit : my perspective changed completely after ep 11
