yeah coz the characters apparently were not charming enuf according to some ...I was like what???? 😂😂

the way people overuse the word toxic relationship nowadays, in a few days it will be like ..oh the character didn't show up at their meeting point when he promised to : this relation has turned toxic, its better they break up....this is what I learnt from people here calling everything toxic !!

I sure do ...but then the moral police will come for them too 😂

hahha ..i love u more n more...thanks for being one of the objective viewers who view the characters as they were written with their flaws instead of criticizing them for not fitting in the prince charming mold !! I loved this show for what it was !! A realistic take on relationships with 2 amazing leads and great direction !!

exactly!!and these haters be dissuading people from watching it by replying to questions like is it a happy ending with it's the worst ending possible etc..I'm so glad I have people now supporting my points ..i was holding the fort alone against haters for quite some time 😂😂

on the contrary i think it's the emo kids who didn't like it coz they din't get the fluff and jealousy and other uni bl tropes that they wanted!! as bad lover pointed out, Ji Woo was not depressed..having insecurities about urself and self doubts is not equal to being depressed...not all mental issues are depression..!! and coming to depression who told u that a depressed person does not go to work or interact with people ?? is there only one form of depression? someone close in my family was diagnosed as depressed and it wasnt until we took them to the doctor that we got to know it was like that beacuse during the time they were facing it and throughout the treatment they never took day off of work or cut themselves off unless absolutely required ...so according to u workaholics and professionals cannot be depressed ?? wow what logic ? see this is what and I quote " as a work of fiction they could have made him more charming" - yesss this is the real reason y'all didnt like Ji woo...coz he wasn't charming enuf and his realism was too much to take for a BL character like y'all have come to expect !! and coming to ur last point about efforts..ok one second ...during the entire time they were together for a year I saw through flashbacks JiWoo also putting a lot of effort for SJ but do u really expect him to put effort into a relationship that he wants nothing to do with now? ur only viewing this from the point he left..obviously he will not put effort after that in relationship he does not want..yes SJ will put more effort then coz he's the one who wants to get back not JW...coming to conflicts being childish..this is how conflicts in real relations are...we don't get Shakespearean conflicts in real life ....i'm so glad that there are so many people coming forward and telling personal experiences about their relationships which was similar to the story here or idealists like u would neve believe that this conflict was so real !!! and what resolution are u talking about ?so u wanted JW to prove himself to b worthy before SJ could accept him..and u don't think that the decision of working out the issues while being togehter is a much better option ? the one that they opted for? real resolutions did come the first and foremost being them spending time apart and focusing on their work instead of just waiting for each other ..that is such a mature step towards rectifying ur mistakes..and I'm glad that Ji Woo suggested this which shows that he really wanted to work on it now..but as I say haters will find a reason to hate !!

thank you so much for this...i'm glad there are viewers like u who see a show objectively for what it is rather than cursing at the characters just coz they didn't meet the expectations of being flawless and ideal that people had from dem !!

i know right ..there were moments when i was like boy u real cute but u ain't in the right profession !!

the only people who appreciate Ji Woo are people who are not scarfed to admit that they were Ji Woo sometimes in their life...meanwhile the moral police in the comments here be declaring him toxic and unstable and whatnot !!

thank you for describing this show so perfectly..i stand by everything u said !! this show presented such a realistic and melancholic take on relationships ..it's definitely a masterpiece but not for everyone!!

yes I agree with one thing ...this show is not for practical viewers who consider pride more important than love !! and it's definitely not for viewers who consider unconditional love toxic !!and it's nothing bad its just different people have different priorities !!
