....In what world of logic could Team Beat's bench team ever rank below that "Baggy Jeans" performance. And don't get me started on the individual rankings.
Lee Chang Sub is such an excellent casting as team director. It's completely understandable why so many contestants are in awe of him—I would be, too, and then some! The contestants who specifically sought to join Team Groove because of him instantly caught my attention for that very reason.
After barely making it through the end of episode 3, I’m in serious need of an audit of the live audience. I haven’t felt this annoyed since *Fantasy Boys*!
While not a masterpiece and possibly a little overhyped, the movie fully captivated me from start to finish with its steady intensity, nice build ups, powerful performances (Kim Go Eun and Choi Min Shik were both amazing), and fascinating blend of history, spirituality, and folklore. Intertwining Korea's colonial past—particularly the enduring scars of Japan's occupation—with spiritual practices rooted in Korean shamanism and geomancy to tell a straightforward supernatural mystery tale. I found the second "act" to be way more interesting, than the first. A couple of scenes were either unintentionally funny or tried to be comedic in a way, I found to be really clumsy. I also wish there had been more time to explore the main characters in greater depth, especially Hwa Rim and Bong Gil. I’d absolutely watch another movie or even an episodic series centered on these two (or all four), delving into ghost-busting stories rooted in local history and folklore.
I usually try to be somewhat rational when deciding who to vote for in these shows, but I’m absolutely not going to be normal about Cha Woong Ki. All in on Woonggi boy!
Can we maybe stop calling out trainees on these shows for crying when it’s a completely natural response? We all understand that an idol career is emotionally and physically demanding, and that it's part of the job to "suck it up" and keep smiling. But these boys weren’t crying to gain pity or leniency; they were exhausted and frustrated. Choi Youngjoon instructing Hou Jia En not to cry and force a smile. Yes, we all got the message loud and clear - as did Hou Jia En. We didn't need the heavyhanded edit. Ryan Jhun pulled the same "strict mentor" stunt on Peak Time and then proceeded to sob like a child himself the rest of the show. Hell, he just broke down on Project 7 - and with good reason. The experienced idols cried too. Several trainees who were safe from elimination were in tears while watching the challenge, fully aware they were watching the ones, who were going home. Crying doesn't need to be spotlightet as a weakness or a flaw. They all cry.
After watching a lot of survival shows, I’ve seen plenty of questionable editing, unhinged challenges and construed narratives, but this dance challenge was one of the most senseless and poorly designed segments yet. I just rewatched the auditions of the eliminated trainees, and some of them were actually quite promising. It must have been confusing for viewers who voted for them to see them cut like this.
I don’t need to watch people fall apart for an hour to understand, becoming an idol is tough and some trainees aren’t ready. I really hope this isn't the kind of challenge we can expect from this show. You can build competitive, emotional narratives without making the audience feel awful for watching.
Hou Jia En tore me to pieces. They even set me up to believe he'd make it. I'm so relieved, this is not the show Cha Woong Ki is in.
I didn't think it was possible for me to loathe Pocketdol more, yet here we are.
Infinite Cooking Hell should've been the only semi-finale with the top 3 chefs from the Cook Your Life round. Since Edward Lee and Triple Star tied, we would've had a semi-finale with Edward Lee, Triple Star, Napoli Matfia and Choi Hyun-seok.
I wish some of the cooking sessions were not so heavily edited, because it's so fascinating seeing the actual cooking and hearing the chefs explain their process.
While the Cook Your Life stories were moving, the round felt underwhelming compared to Infinite Cooking Hell, which really challenged everyone on creativity and endurance.
Edward Lee was the heart of the show. I'm ready for a season 2.
My. God! How many scum of the earth characters can you cram into one story?! Lock this hellhole of a town up and throw away every key. All I need now to reach 100% distain for all humans, is for good cop dude to take a sudden stroll on the dark side in the final episode. Great show.
I find cooking shots absolutely mesmerizing, and there’s nothing more therapeutic than watching a lost soul…

- You just captured my gateway to Japanese dramas. Food & healing. ✨🎯
I'll support, what a few commenters here have already highlighted: the chemistry between Kim Young Dae and Shin Min Ah is really solid so far. Lee Sang Yi is hot as hell, but they did him dirty with the (F)Bok Gyu name. 😂 His chemistry with secretary dude is nice. They should hook up.
Ji Uk's messy hair is cute, but the styling with the black suit add-on just elevated things to boss level! Let's keep the wolf cut, please.
That scene where the writer friend scrolls through all the hate comments, sees the one positive and then goes to sleep with a smile on her face? Nicely done.
I'm pleasantly surprised by these first two episodes, even if all the familiar tropes are out and about. It's fun, breezy and defintely not devoid of social commentary.
Oh, I just remembered, where I've seen the secretary dude before. It's the interior decorator from I Live Alone! Good for him, he's booking more dramas.
I wasn't all that invested in any of the couples, but loved seeing the friendships being formed. The misunderstandings between Seseung & Jungsub were exhausting. I also found her staring game a bit creepy. Girl, take a breath. Her date with Cheolhyun had such great energy. I liked their connection a lot.
A man coming in late and decidedly going for one woman is always swoony. Yoonjae, you did well.
Jaehyung had me from his first appearance until the end. What a gem of a guy. Watching him get in his own way in that ferris wheel was heartbreaking. Choa came in a close second followed by Cheolhyun. Lovely people. The gracefulness Choa displayed throughout the show was impressive and inspiring.
Yongwoo spent the majority of the episodes talking up a storm, while not saying anything substantial at all. I loved, how the entire panel began calling him out on it. Code Kunst: "I don't understand what he's talking about! There's nothing honest about him right now. He's just pretending to be honest." Hands down the best panel reaction. Yongwoo's hands behind his neck pose? I wanted Choa to pick him up and throw him off the balcony. Him doing rounds with his doctor bag in episode 15 was hilarious, though.
First half: wholesome, second half: messy. The sibling Q&A in episode 15 was WILD! I fell in love with Jaehyung, Yoonjae and Cheolhyun during that scene for completely different reasons.
It seems like they're following the same upload structure as season 2. Personally, I'd really like a commentary…
Oh, right! Daenyeol's commentary videos were great. It seems like some of the cast members from all three seasons either hang out or at least are in touch in some way, so maybe we'll get some fun content in the future. Honestly, the best part of this series is, the cast find camaraderie, that last after the show.
I don't remember, do they only do commentary on the first 2 episodes? Or more?
It seems like they're following the same upload structure as season 2. Personally, I'd really like a commentary touching on the various changes and key scenes with input from both the cast and production like the one they did with Seonwoo, Hyunjun and Minsung at Melted. It thought that was quite interesting. I guess it also depends on the agreements they have for post-show activities and level of popularity/demand.

I wish I had waited, so I could binge this.
