Another boring and uneducated review. Did you even notice there was a cisgender actor playing a trans role? There…
I have no idea how you came up with such angry conclusion about the trans-character at all. I didnt even mentioned that character at all, to not engage in such dumb debate you are trying to achieve.
But I can indulge your off track anger by saying; the reasons why they chose that actor has already been discussed. I had personally not an issue with it at all. On the contrary, I welcomed it, they did a good job in showcasing it and also normalizing it and not made it into a freakshow like it sometimes is showcased in dramas. I loved that they put it in as in "this is just a regular citizen with issues like anyone else".
My issue was more on technical part of them having stupid prolonged fighting scenes, like in the ep7 that didnt actually provided with anything in particular. There was ONE, ONE scene I did welcome and that was the character getting PTSD attack. It was beautifully showcased.
The entire season felt scattered with loose ends and yet without the cliffhanger to weight up those loose ends. S2 didnt provide to the story, it wasnt even filler, it felt more like a huge load of b-rolls. I miss the red thread, a continuation and not piggybacking on s1
This is the main reason I disliked this season. If s3 would come sooner, then fine, but 2-3 in between, basically demands a really solid season to weight in the wait. This didnt ecen offered a good cliffhanger like s1
I will hereby have a bingo over how many times FL gets wrapped by a cape.... ..but its getting on par with how many times "Rose" was called in Titanic. :D :D :D
True and I prefer the original story line better. Everything seems messes up comparing to the original webtoon
well, there were/is many changes really. Most for the worse. The side character is gastronomy is changed from pastry chef to a restaurant chef. They tried to later make sense of that re-connecting him in later in the episodes but the damage was already done. Part of the revenge plot got a secondary plot-twist with a third villain (the part where so many are complaining) instead of the first villains getting punishment. Also, ML leads family's "twist" was instead of them supporting FL (as in the manwha) they are doing the opposite here, which almost made me puke because why did they wanted to go with another in-laws-villain thing.
However, there is ONE thing they did BETTER than the manwha and that is the background second ML/FL.
Considering how they destroyed certain parts, I doubt the last couple in the story will have an as good ending/epilogue as it did in the manwha, which is a pity. It was a cute side-story ish.

Basically the MC gets full support from ML family almost from day 1. The Chef is not a chef but instead a baker, that role fitting the story better with the ending. Deaths happen but all in all a satisfying happy ending. The bitchy bff goes to prison and rots there. In fact, she goes to prison early and the mother incident happens from her still in prison but situation gets solved by ML's family protecting FL. Ml's mom is so darn cool
