I haven't found an official synopsis and the teaser is not subbed yet but apparently It's about these 2 guys that…
no problem! I believe the plot is a bit similar to "With Love the series" if you want to check it out. Also you can follow "Copy a Bangkok" on all the socials for more info :)
It's funny how all these straight girls in the comments want to tell LGBT people what we should or should not feel offended by.. you will NEVER understand, so please take a seat. I don't care if they don't want to play gay characters anymore, It's their decision, what I don't like is the attitude they showed, in particular Mean. I don't hate them and I'm still going to watch LBC 2 because I love the characters, I don't think they are against the LGBT community either, they seem like good people but they were definitely ungrateful and disrespectful to the people that put them on the spotlight and gave them thousands of followers. If you don't like a role you can refuse it respectfully, but saying you don't want to play gay anymore? being gay is not a genre? all gay people are different? hello? people never say "oh, I don't want straight roles anymore" the character's sexuality is irrelevant, it's still romance genre. I hope everyone in the industry can learn something from this.
I saw the trailer and I'm like ??? haha, it looks fun and I'm DEFINITELY tuning it (Poppy's such a sweetheart)!…
I haven't found an official synopsis and the teaser is not subbed yet but apparently It's about these 2 guys that come to live in that building (owned by poppy's character) and poppy is like obsessed with one of them? or maybe with the idea of both of them being together? I'm not sure.. but it's definitely a comedy haha
OMG it's true.. I was hoping it was a lie but I see all the comments talking about the same thing.. I'm so worried, not just for the story but for the actors themselves.. I hope COVID doesn't ruin this show.. I hope they don't change too much, I think it's better if they release more deleted scenes for the coming weeks and they film more episodes later when it's safe to be outside.
Ok.... It's like.. a bit weird and ridiculous BUT I LOVE IT??? I don't know.. it's funny and light and they have so much chemistry? I like the characters.. PROTECT DUEN PLEASE OMG I LOVE HIM hahaha and Bon is so mischievous lol, Cooper and Poy are acting so cute!!! the other boys were good as well.. It's a shame It's only in 720p but at least they solved the problem with the links.
I was pleasantly surprised and impressed at the inclusion of Tee and Lee in the friend group as well. It was nice…
I know, right? I hope New gets more inclusive like this and decides to make a series with Earth/Fluke as the main couple, like so many people wanted :)
I'm usually optimistic about most BL series even if they get negative reviews BUT I cannot believe how vague and basic this is. Like.. seriously.. I'll probably just put the next eps in the background while doing something else to see if it gets any better.. hopefully the rest of En of love stories are more interesting.. this was just a bunch of characters sitting around and talking/reading texts in EVERY SCENE. I REALLY CAN'T. and the gossip girl in the beginning? GURLLL WHYYYY? the only things I like were: the song, the design of the intro/breaks, the quality of the visuals was on point (like expected from wabi sabi), how the friends were super cool with the idea of the main dating a guy, how the more feminine gays were included in their friend group in a couple scenes (in some series they're always on their own) and.. well.. that's about it.
The good thing about this series ending is that y'all can finally stop complaining every single week. I don't get it. Anyway... AFTER I ACTUALLY FINISHED all 17 eps and the special ep, I can tell you, that even if it's not "the greatest" show ever, It was pretty awesome. If you are gay you will definitely relate to the characters experiences and the issues they face, I'm glad I watched it. If you don't care about that at all.. well... it's not for you.
I could put this in a review, but I'll keep it as a longer comment, I just want to let my thoughts out.
The good stuff:
- Fluke Natouch's acting is SO GOOD. THE RANGE. - A fresh approach to the classic BL university drama, the heavy and intense drama makes It stand out from other recent BLs. Yet, it has a bit of a comedic side that lightens it up. It feels kind of like a gay version of one of those classic, iconic, well known love stories that straight people have. I feel like we needed something like this. - The music is fantastic! Boy Sompob did it again!!! and not only him, the other songs are great as well including the ones that Boun and Sammy sing. - The portray of LGBT characters and LGBT issues in general was treated with touch, naturality and respect on and off set. Examples: discrimination and suicide of gay people and how family members deal with it, coming out to family and friends, straight allies and family showing support, bisexual character, break of gender norms, men advertising and using makeup etc. - Older actors have a larger role than in your typical BL drama, they wanted to participate in a series that speaks up for equality in today's society and they loved the script. - 2 of the main actors are actually gay (many directors only cast straight boys or straight passing) - Every scene was shot beautifully, one of the prettiest BL series I've watched. - If you like Love by chance, most of the cast have guest roles, besides Earth who is a main, of course.
The not so good stuff:
- It can feel a bit repetitive if you are not really interested in flashbacks or characters dealing with the same issues for several episodes. - Despite the great amount of drama, there's really not much plot at all other than uncovering the mysteries of their past lives and their connections. - Missed opportunities of developing the secondary couples in particular WinTeam, I really hope they get their own series. We missed more interactions of Sin/Sorn as well and even Del/Alex, Manaow/Pruk and Don too.
Overall, I don't regret watching it. I really enjoyed it.
For me, TT and WRU felt longer bc the scenes seemed to drag on with not a whole lot happening that advances the…
Ok you might have a point there, but some episodes are looooong like most parts are 20 plus minutes.. in this one we had like a 6 minute part or something haha not that there's something wrong with that I was just comparing it to other recent series
I agree with all your points. I LOVE Sarawat as a character. I mean, what a great and funny character. Bright…
You are right! I like how they did that. I was just saying I hope he gets a love interest because that's rare for a gay feminine character and I would love that to change this time :)
1 - It felt soooooooo short! I guess I got used to getting longer episode parts like in Tharntype/WhyRU.
2 - The intro is nice, I like the vibe of the song, It felt refreshing.
3 - Tine and Sarawat are both on point, they're cute and the acting is good, I really like the dynamic between them and the contrast of their personalities. Also we love a confident gay Sarawat ;)
4 - All side characters are okay, is nice to see Mike and Gun again! by the way, the girl with the short hair is like.. so cool??? give her scenes!
5 - GIVE GREEN A BOYFRIEND. seriously if they don't do this at the end I will be so upset, stop treating feminine gay characters as trash that doesn't deserve love, I'm tired.
6 - Controversies: YES, following a guy that tells you he's straight to your face everywhere is NOT healthy.. but it's basically a core part of the plot in this series and he NEVER tried to hurt him in any way, on the contrary he was being so nice and cute, I feel bad for him. he's genuinely trying to get his attention but apparently because he's too flamboyant that translates into "creepy" ..seriously? oh.. and the sleep drug thing.. YES. IT'S NOT OKAY but he wasn't trying to make him sleep because he wanted to assault him, he just wanted TO GET AWAY FROM HIM and at the end It didn't even work!!! Can we stop the pearl clutching?
Besides all that, It got my attention and I'm interested to watch more, looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun.
GIVE FLUKE NATOUCH AN AWARD PLEASE. I love how beautiful every scene looks, the lighting is fantastic. Everyone's performance has been on point, one of the best BL OST EVER, the portrayal of gay issues and people has been with so much respect. I don't consider it to be "boring" or "slow" but many scenes have this sort of calm/organic vibe to them that makes me feel at peace, I guess some people can't appreciate it that way.
I could put this in a review, but I'll keep it as a longer comment, I just want to let my thoughts out.
