When u're straight and people start shipping u with a person of the same gender and there are fics written about…
You are right, I would really like to see her character develop. I still doubt they're gonna address the issues because of the massive shipper culture in Thailand but let's see how it goes in the next episodes.
When u're straight and people start shipping u with a person of the same gender and there are fics written about…
I mean.. she said she would make it "soft" in ep 3, so I assumed it was mostly platonic/romantic.. we don't know exactly if Zol's fiction is explicity sexual but, assuming it is, I guess having sexual fiction written about you must feel really weird regardless if it's gay or straight, I am assumed straight all the time and it's tiring. At he same time I think that's just part of the shipper culture? how many girls like Zol are out there writting erotic fictions with their favorite celebrities? yeah.. It doesn't feel healthy that your sister is obsessed with the idea that you're gay and keeps writing fictions about you.. that's why I wasn't sure if I was going to like the character or not, but the way they're portraying her is just adorable, I can't help but like her, sorry. And it's actually making Zon question himself and showing some of that famous gay panic we all go through which is soooooooooo relatable and It's moving the plot forward for SaifahZon. I didn't take it too seriously, but that's just my opinion.
I mean...just because people voice criticisms and say it's overhyped doesn't mean they don't like BL (or even…
Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude either. I undersand not everyone has to like it but I was just upset because most times it feels as if gay guys have no say in whether a BL series is good or not, girls just start critizicing so harshly in the first episodes! it's annoying because It's actually our sexuality what is being represented and we don't have nearly as much content to choose from compared to straight people. BL may be a genre to many but for us is mostly our only way to see ourselves represented in dramas. Everyone has the right to criticize it, I was just expressing how I felt at the moment, sorry If It sounded too aggressive.
I still don't understand why so many people are hating on this show or complaining about the hype.. are you sure you even like BL? don't you have like thousands of "better" straight series you could be watching if you don't like this one?
From just these 3 episodes It looks like it's gonna be a really fun series to watch, ep 3 was definitely the best one so far. I laughed soooooooo much with Saifah and Zon and their friends. Yes, it's full of clichés but what's wrong with that? It's supposed to feel that way because the protagonist thinks he is living in a "BL world" so I don't see the problem at all, It's funny and unique.
I actually like the shipper character, she's cute and It doesn't feel disrespectful in my opinion (there's also a boy who reads bl series and supports her which is sooo cool). I really enjoy all the characters , they're doing a great job and I like how many they are, It just adds to the show's world and makes it more interesting.
It's very inclusive, in just 3 episodes we've already seen so much different kinds of LGBT representation: gay, bisexual, trans, people questioning, internalized homophobia and anxiety, straight supportive friends/family etc. If you are part of the community I suggest you should give it a try first before you believe anyone.. and if you still don't like it.. well.. fair enough.
It's soooo entertaining and refreshing, I just LOVE it. I'm actually enjoying the side characters and cameos so much. I don't understand the negative reviews nor do I care lol. I'll keep watching. ZonSaifah are my favorite. THEY'RE SO FUNNY I CAN'T GUYS. GO WATCH IT.
Okay, just finished it and I have to say that, even if it was a bad series it still had some nice cute moments. It was fun to watch sbfive together again! I really like them, but the queerbait was completely unnecessary and cheap, I wish they would have gone full BL. The best part of the show was discovering Pleum and Tae, their scenes were really well done and beautiful, they have so much potential. I hope they can get more BL roles in the future or a series together as a main couple, that would be awesome, I love them.

I was ready to end up like a clown but it was worth the wait lol.
