just finished episode 3 and i truly can see how this is a makjang bc the plot is literally so absurd ... it's so messy that it's enjoyable ??? LOL

i really wish it was more my thing!! :( the parts that were obviously supposed to be funny, just weren't to me, which is a shame because it made so many scenes seem super draggy to me hhhhhh

i'm on episode 13 at the moment and what really makes this drama for me is the amazing chemistry between the two leads tbh. the humour feels forced to me and i really don't care for probably 90% of the side characters (i.e. i don't give a flying flipper about ouyang but GOD he had a ton of solo scenes) but the ML & FL together is A+++.

i'm a sucker for revenge dramas so this is honestly right up my alley tbh

they're all terrible people so im just here for the ride and a promising storyline LOL

just finished this drama and i loved it tbh. was doubtful at first but loved their chemistry, and i'm so glad they had their happy ending because i usually don't watch dramas while they're airing LOL. the plot was kind of ????? at many points but i was so invested in the characters that it didn't even matter to me.

Finished first episode. I like the storyline so far and it seems really promising! But .......... y'all. I'm going to be real shallow here for a sec because Yang Yang looks SO good here, it's hard to focus on anything else LMAO.

I'm two episodes in and it's pretty corny with all the slo mos but the two leads have chemistry and it's engaging enough for me to keep watching to see their relationship progress. I'm reading some comments and I don't get all the negativity towards the FL? Sure, she seems bratty at the moment but I like how she's headstrong and stands up for herself. I've watched a lot of dramas where the FL gets pushed around by her "family" and just stands there and takes it so this is pretty refreshing lol. Also, it's evident from the first episode that something traumatic happened in the past that hugely influenced her character.

My opinion might change as I watch more, but I like it so far!

Lemme tell you, 37 episodes in and FL still barely has a personality so you've made the right choice and saved yourself hours of monotony. LOL.

i get his intention, but it was still really, really poor execution. he's basically deciding her life for her - despite her saying multiple times that her only wish was to stay by his side. how can she even achieve happiness after his death if she doesn't even get to choose who or what she decides to do with the rest of her life??? how is that remotely fair to her??? i'm sorry, but i really cannot deal with these plotlines LOL.

episode 36... i was waiting for that slap haishi gave jiangming because i just got SO ANGRY on her behalf. like literally married her and a day later fucked around with her feelings AGAIN (what is this, for like the 10th time??) and told her to spend the rest of her life chained to someone else. lol "protecting her" yeah im sure she'll feel safe and also absolutely fucking miserable being with someone she doesn't love for years on end. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.

YES. i think i'm on maybe episode 28 or something and they seemed to totally gloss over all the shit he did to tilan... and she forgave him WAY too easily. i really hope i like him a bit more as the series progresses because i'm doing a major side eye right now

im on episode 24 and goddamn i'm so glad tilan is finally standing up for herself bc the emperor is a pos that is literally abusing her. i literally do not care what trauma you had in your past life, you cannot treat another human being like trash wtf. he better have a helluva redemption arc

Eternal Love truly has one of the best OST imo, every time I listen to it, it brings me back to the drama.

so... i decided to watch this despite knowing it has a not so great ending and i'm not sure i feel anything for the main couple yet??? i'm not really feeling the chemistry and idk if it's just because the ML is usually super expressionless or these two just .... don't have it lol im on episode 11 and im hoping it gets better

Aww, thanks for looking out! I ended up skipping ahead to some of the later episodes to see if it might be better but the FL still seems annoying to me looool. I guess weak FLs just aren’t my thing in dramas haha.
