I dropped this in the first episode, did not like the FL.
Honestly.... I have around like 2 more episodes to go and the FL is really pissing me off so you were better off not watching LOL.

Review The Rise of Phoenixes
If we had not skipped a lot of FL scenes we would have dropped it. Only character we liked at the end was Gu Nan…
I don’t know what’s going to happen to him yet but yeah, he’s one of the more tolerable ones right now LOL. It really kills me because everyone’s acting is over average, good cast, but subject to trash plot and unfortunately, I can’t feel any chemistry between the two main leads...

We almost dropped this in the beginning, could not stand BQ for a long time. Did finally get through it.
Oh god, yeah, I think it took me over 10 episodes for me to finally get into it - her whole young child, innocent, high-pitched acting in the beginning while she was training was so damn annoying sflksdflsdfs
