I only recommend this show to people who know they like a slow burn, and like fluffy cotton candy/floss kind of…
I know it may not seem like it from my comments but I actually like cute fluffy dramas… they make me feel happy & giggly lol. I feel like this drama had a ton of potential but it’s just flat. I was looking forward to following FL music careeer but there were so many episodes and she literally sung 3 songs… it was like after they got together it was only about her following ML around and his career. I’m glad some people liked this drama but it just wasn’t for me. I loved Amidst a Snowstorm of Love.. it was slow burn but I didn’t mind it tbh. I found the FL to be very relatable to me. I watched it on Viki with the comments on and I was surprised about the amount of hate FL received. I loved that they were both inexperienced in love and were kinda of just figuring it out together for the first time. I’ve watched some great dramas… I’m currently watching My Little Happiness

Nooo keep going 😂 I’m finally at the last episode… this drama was so hard to finish. I kept having to force myself because I’ve come to far to drop it lol Do you have any recommendations for what I should watch next? I need to purge this one out of my memory 😭😭

I agree! I also tried to stay neutral but I get I completely understand where they’re coming from. I usually think the comments are over exaggerated but this is the first time it was actually accurate for me. I get more frustrated as I keep watching it because it has potential but it’s going absolutely nowhere. There was absolutely no character growth for FL and some of the other characters… they stayed the same in all the episodes which made their character feel very flat and hard to connect to. I understand that FL is young and innocent but the actress portrays her as almost childlike and it just rubs me the wrong way. Also, she has so much talent and she has only worked on two songs so far (I’m currently on ep 28)… they only show her eating or at her family’s store. I’m disappointed because I was excited about the music but it’s been mostly about food.
I think the writers thought constantly adding more characters would make it more interesting but it just makes it harder to connect with the drama.

I know that’s why I said possible love rivals… they could’ve done something with those characters to make the drama more interesting but they just mentioned them and then nothing.
I feel cheated and betrayed… everyone hyped this drama up so I’ve been saving it to binge but I’m very disappointed. He confessed in episode 8 and FL is hiding their relationship from everyone with these unnecessary lies. I love a good slow burn but I had to wait until episode 15 for them to just hold hands… they haven’t even hugged yet. They’re in a relationship and don’t know anything about each other, they literally had to play 21 questions to find out each others birthday. The side couple is so forced and unnecessary… they supposedly fell in love at first sight but he can’t even talk to her and she’s so awkward it’s painful and absolutely no chemistry between the two. It’s also too many characters that bring nothing. There are so many nosy friends with the storyline of just snooping in the main couple’s relationship. I personally hate being questioned constantly so i find these characters so annoying. I’m not gonna lie the FL & ML are cute together but I have to force myself to keep watching. I know I should just drop it but I’m at episode 17 so I might as well finish it but I will never recommend this drama to anyone.
