Filming has not started yet. The plan was to start in Q4 of 2021 but that didn’t happen yet. ML is currently recording for a reality tv show. He is still waiting. However we believe filming will start this year.

There is no indication on the number of episodes for JOY S2. Have they started shooting for this drama!!!
China censorship board approved script for jol2 and filming for 30 episodes as well as script for JOL3 and filming for 30 episodes. Thus approval is for total of 60 episodes. However they can always get approval for more as JOL1 ALSO STARTED WITH 30 EPISODES BUT ended up with 46.
