They donât want to use resources for someone who may leave the firm. When irâs a married woman, itâs already known she wants to keep on working. I find the logic faulty as well but thatâs pretty much the issue with any woman. Are you going to get married ie having kids and then leave for a period of time or leave all together. Mind you they hardly ever ask this of men.
Such a refreshing show with such a strong feminist plot, the sisterhood is brilliant. I love all the characters except the stupid crown lord of course. Kudos to the solar concubines and the fifth lord and his spouse. They make me laugh so much. Iâd be happier if there wasnât a screaming childish woman character but we canât always have what we want. I wish they dropped this type of characters, whether a woman or a man, theyâre annoying and bring nothing to the table except aggravation.
the way they deal with topics of gender equality, monogamy, concubine system, taxes, loans, entering oneself, serving the people is great. All this plus the laugh out loud scenes make this show great.

Ah leash rue good guys have a modicum of success I lie in some shows where the bad guys prevail by far and way worse than those in this show. I had to drop Princess weiloung because of that. But overall I agree with your assessment

Yang miâs and yuâs voices are a reason not to watch their shows. I canât.t stand yuâs voice. It..s too babyish. The dubbing in china makes it possible for people with truly atrocious voices to become famous before they start using their own voice. Yuâs voice and her entire demeanour are reasons enough not to watch the fairy and the devil (I tried about 4 times and since not a fan of Dylan wang, nothing could make me watch it). Iâll have to force myself for fairy and the sword and she and her perfect husband because both yu and Yangmi are stars in dramas with Xu Kai.
