They announced a change a few hours ago. It’s postponed. Xu Kai was supposed to release a video this morning and that was apparently cancelled. What’s weird is that it happened between time to release new poster which did get posted and his video.

Most Chinese fantasy dramas would be a match :) love and redemption, the legends for example. In a modern setting a Korean odyssey might be to your liking as well as goblin. For’kdrama you’ll mostly find them in modern settings, cdramas do,more costume fantasies like this show.

VIki took a day to update air date. It shouldn’t be used an indicator unless it decides to air before WeTV and Tencent but I doubt it.

Can you explain why being just in web would hurt them ? There must be something specific to the country because that wouldn’t be a problem else where. A lot of shows get released on WeTV iQIYI Netflix etc (modern ones and historical fantasy ones) without an issue

Dit it hurt zhao lusi, wu lei et al ? I don’t get why it would too. Must be a Chinese thing.

But at the same time, it ends too quickly :) and we don’t know when the next three shows with Xu Kai will air.

I love a Korean odyssey. The first half is better than second half. Then I’d say it’s all surrounded, vagabond, brilliant inheritance, mouse. He is great in mouse, just couldn’t finish the show, doesn’t mean it’s not good, I was just not into it.

You could watch it for the male lead though 😀. I am not a fan of hers either she looked too young, character was babyish at the beginning. But Xu kai as bai jue makes up for it. But I am biased, I really liked Xu kai. He really rocks costume dramas.

After they got the files on the usb drive, you see JJ hand him a legal indictment to him and they mention the number he has left to tear up. I think he has still 23 of them

It’s been a while since a new show has picked my interest and I was’nt that interested in this one. I just started it because I had nothing to watch and I’m very happy I did.

I hope that the rest of the show is as good as the first two episodes.

Is that confirmed for Xu kai ? I only see stuff for song.

I wish it was not Disney. Another show that won’t show elsewhere. If only Disney would get out of Korea and leave those shows to other networks/ streaming services. Or at least let international services buy the show since they hardly distribute them outside of Korea which doesn’t make any sense at all to begin with.

What’s wrong with him ? He’s a pretty good actor.
