Season 2 is pretty good though. I thought I liked s1 better but I’m rewatching it right now and I think I like the new cast better and I I like most of the storylines more as well. I do prefer the storyline with the president in s1 though

You’re not alone. It took me a while to kinda like it. But I’m on episode 17 and I’m still that into the show. It didn’t take me as much for court lady and I had to try it a few times as well to get past the first few episodes.

That’s incorrect isn’t it ., most celebrities try to hide they’re dating. they even hide their marital status so their career isn’t affected. As if their lives belong to the public. The fact his career might be over over a personal matter speaks volume , considering the people going after him on Weibo and the likes also tells something about it. Also he probably didn’t have a choice in signing that non dating clause.
