I think it’s closer to prison playbook. People who don’t know each other but eventually care for each other.

It’s good but it’s not the same. It has the same vibes as prison playbook or hospital playlist. Just watch first two. Episode 1 is pretty different.

That look like payback for all the shit Pyo did to all the nurses. It wasn’t just one nurse but a few of them. There’s a scene where she goes ask her for a script after another nurse begs her to do it.
She was told just beforehand about all the stuff they have to give without a script and Pyo was gone to sleep and to just ask her to add to the history once she’s awake in the morning.

I think the op has not seen that many historical dramas to write that. Aside alchemy and love for illusions, there’s hardly fantasy in sageuks lately.

I think she just got her revenge. Pyo was being difficult with all the nurses, not just one.
I still don’t understand why she listened to Dr Myung who is definitely a jerk to everyone. She knows what she was doing to Yo Yeong, so why would she listen to her advice ?

The only character that was kinda in hp is Dr Myung. But she was also hardly ever in HP.

However, the cameos will just work for people who love HP. For you, it won’t do anything. It’s just something extra for fans I guess.

Hospital playlist has a great ensemble cast and it’s kinda funny. Prison playbook , from the same team, is also very good.
It’s a fun watch especially when you see the same actors popping up from one show to the other (not the same characters since it’s not the same universes). That team is very loyal. You can go even further back with the reply series.

in HP, they’re all professors. close to their 40s. they’ve known each other as a group for about 20 years. they’re truly adults. here we’re getting kids. it’s the chu min ah, the silver dragons, the twins of hp. the ones that were making mistakes all the time and being reprimanded by our group.

yeah these two have the same type of aura.

the opening of the first episode was not to my liking. you’ll understand once you see it. but after that, it’s been very close to hospital playlist. it’s missing the music interludes from HP. I didn’t like all of the songs but I still wish we had them here as well 😁
they’re starting to gel together. but I wish we knew more about their backgrounds already.

he’s not old. he’s about 3/4 years older than the first year residents. and because of whatever happened to Oh Yi Yeong, there’s not that much of an age gap between them.
