Yeah it is. Netflix just distributes internationally. Tvn is one of the 5 major channels in South Korea. It was also the home of hospital playlist. It is a tvn original. Netflix just bought the rights. If it had been a Netflix original, the show would have been distributed last year as it should have been. Instead, tvn postponed it due to the doctors strike that just ended a few weeks ago and waited. Netflix had to wait as well.
Would you rather have a 2nd season of RP or a 3rd season of HP with these characters incorporated into the storyline?…
In a perfect world, I’ll take both. I don’t see the residents taking front stage if they were incorporated in HP and as fun as the cameos are in Resident, I’d be even happier to see our residents open their wings and fly. Of course, I need the full on romance of oh yi young and koo dôwon I think compared to both prison playbook and hospital playlist, this relationship is the most mature one they have written. Don’t get me wrong, I loooove the ones in HP though there was a kind of ick factor with both gyeol/ Andrea and seok Hoon and min ah (the apparent age gap ( I know ahn and her are very close in age the real seniority) for me. But I adored ikjun songhwa, the two residents and jun wan and iksun.
What also was important in HP are the covers of songs that they play and I truly miss that in residents. So yeah in a perfect world, both shows. I think if they can manage to write meaningful stories of’patients and them alike for both shows, they should go for it. We all know the cast of HP wants a third season not they’re just waiting for the Pdnim to okay it.
Can someone confirm, liu yu Ning is dubbed, right ? it feels just a few are dubbed and that’s. Weird that at this point in his career , he is still dubbed
