I’ve already posted but the original title of this show was a life of a resident that becomes wise.
They switched to resident playbook because it’s more in tune with the team production works form the past (hospital playlist, prison playbook) so it makes sense that it revolves around her.
However I agree wholehearted that it would be nicer if the cameos also interacted with the other residents.

It is a South Korean original.
Netflix is either just distributing or financing a bit. We don’t know the deal for the show.

It’s not because ads original on some show that they are. It’s a practice the streamer does but is not true per se.

Actually just 2 of the couples in hospital playlist.
Kim dae Myung and Ahn eun Jin. They have a 11 year gap
And moon tae Yoo and ha Yoon kyung a 9 year gap.
Because the others were within 2/3 years.

It is not comparable to hospital playlist but ratings have gone down in 4 years so it’s difficult to say but i believe comparatively speaking it’s doing. Early as far away d as HP in its first season.

The show was postponed for nearly a year because there was a major strike due to a plan from the government to increase the number of new doctors by 2000. It lasted 14 months and ended about a week ago when the gvt scrap it.

They have said in interviews that a second season depends on ratings and the desire of audience to see them again. The interviews are a few weeks old. The limited series tag on Netflix was there from the get go. It won’t be the first time a one shot season get renewed in South Korea. If Tvn wants it then I’m dur e they’ll’ make it happen.

The first title was A Life of a Resident That Will Be Wise Someday They changed it to be more in line with previous shows but I think it’s more about her residency than creating a group of friends.
However, i’d be happy if they showed more residents interacting with our HP people.
