The only character that was kinda in hp is Dr Myung. But she was also hardly ever in HP.

However, the cameos will just work for people who love HP. For you, it won’t do anything. It’s just something extra for fans I guess.

Hospital playlist has a great ensemble cast and it’s kinda funny. Prison playbook , from the same team, is also very good.
It’s a fun watch especially when you see the same actors popping up from one show to the other (not the same characters since it’s not the same universes). That team is very loyal. You can go even further back with the reply series.

the opening of the first episode was not to my liking. you’ll understand once you see it. but after that, it’s been very close to hospital playlist. it’s missing the music interludes from HP. I didn’t like all of the songs but I still wish we had them here as well 😁

he’s not old. he’s about 3/4 years older than the first year residents. and because of whatever happened to Oh Yi Yeong, there’s not that much of an age gap between them.

kim sa bi thinks she’s good at everything. like she thought she was great at getting consent and only focused on it and didn’t realize how bad she was.
she thinks because of her grades, she should always be chosen while the others are good in their own way.
We don’t know what’s up with Oh Yi Yeong. there must be a reason she’s trying her damnest not to be picked. like refusing to do sutures in the Or etc.

she’s not deserving though. she’s good at studies but she lacks empathy and she can’t interact with patients. Oh Yi Yeong is very good at it. professor Seo sees that.

no. in hospital playlist, two of them have kinda grown up together. and the 5 of them met in their first orientation weekend in med school. there’s a bunch of flashbacks showing them meeting and trying to date etc. Andrea is the one making sure they all work at Yulje and the condition was that they play music every weekend or so for one of them. it’s a very different settings from this one.

It’s a good ending that warrants a season 2.
