If you like sports anime, watch this
This is basically a live action sports anime.It has all the usual things; disgraced superstar, struggling youth team, players with untapped potential, and strong sense of teamwork/unity. It also, unfortunately, has cliché themes and all the other downsides of sports anime.
That being said, if you like K-dramas and sports anime, this one is for you. It's literally watching the characters come to life with decent music.

Storyline the weakest link
For starters, I haven't read the webtoon so this is purely based off the drama.Action scenes were good. Delving into psychological trauma was good. Manifesting suppressed anger was good.
Here's what wasn't good.
There was no true "bond" between the characters. There was no friendship, no bonding, no connection. You can't build a friendship on shared rage alone. There was nothing to look forward to between characters because everything felt forced.
There was no lovable character. No, I don't mean cute, or fluff. I mean truly likeable characters. They tried but character development was non-existent. In fact, there were more hateful characters (aka Dad, and bullies) than anything else.
Essentially, with no attachment to characters, a weak storyline, all that was left for this drama was good casting and slugging action. I compare it to Weak Hero cause it's come out around the same time and it just doesn't have the same... depth. No umami. Convenience store instant noodles compared to restaurant level ramen... so to speak.
Watch it if you want but also, don't expect too much.

Great supplementary spin-off to ULS
You can feel the raw emotion almost immediately. Acting is not the best I've ever seen and there is some cheese but the EMOTION is dripping and the tension is palpable. The sexual chemistry between the two are top notch. There is indeed an intimate scene (more than one actually... we have been BLESSED) and they will leave you breathlessly clutching your heart.You do not need to watch Unintentional Love Story to watch this but I do recommend watching ULS afterwards to help continue the story along (with the added treat of the main couple as well). If you're like me and feel this was not enough, lets rally up and PETITION for a part 2 shall we?

Had me captivated from the start
Definitely one to top the list; there were so many things in this movie that made me want to re-watch again and again.The highlight of it all were the actors. Their portrayal of emotions whilst trying to simultaneously hide their emotions were a treat to watch. Relatively unknown actors, I hope we get to see a lot more from them in the years to come.
The story itself is cute, if not somewhat lacking in detail. It's an idealistic BL story but one that isn't completely new or fresh. Sets the appropriate tone for the movie and that's about it. Cute is probably the most ideal word to describe it.
Over all, I'd highly recommend a watch as the acting was on point. Chemistry was electric and the entire film gave me the warm fuzzies along with a sexy vibe, despite the sheer lack of anything obviously sexy. That, in itself, is an accomplishment!
