I have watched a number of these “revenge dramas,” where the fight is against powerful people, to understand how things will go. I’m afraid for his friend “Angel.” He is like “too good.” It’s like he will be targeted in upcoming episodes. I really hope not. I sort of want this to remain a more light and fluffy revenge drama where he remains having the upper hand and his friends and family stay safe.

“The Royalty Style Set” Yes, that is the one I would have picked for myself.

There is yet another Chinese version of “Marry My Husband” that was released in 2025 and is currently playing on Viki titled, “Her Trajecting”. It’s a horizontal short-form drama with 15 minutes episodes. It closely fallows the Korean version storyline with few notable exceptions, the ML is an idol and the business everyone works at is an entertainment company.

I know, right? That last outfit was a fashion crime.

Honestly, I feel the same way. I don’t know why I continue watching this. I don’t look forward to it. I debate each week if I should continue any more of my time on it. Just one more episode to go then I can put it away forever.

This is my favorite BL of 2025. I am obsessed with it. Now I will wait patiently for them to give us Special Episodes. Who am I kidding? I cannot wait. I need the Special Episodes NOW!!!!!! PLEASE!

Nope, I didn’t forget. I just finished binge watching it for the second time yesterday so I remembered all that. I also agree with your assessment. With that being said, even though her husband got her the anchor job, which was also the reason she left the job, I can still be disappointed.

She lost her dream. A dream she worked hard at. Had she not met him then she would be still working towards her goal. Building her dream herself. I get what you are saying about the clothes and being true to herself, but the same could be said about her work prior to meeting him, building her dream of being an anchor.

I dropped a lot of the same dramas on your list. To My Shore and Bangkok Boy has that toxic lead that I like in my dramas so I had to keep them on my list. The Proper Way to Write Love is not much of a time commitment and it does start slow but gets better with each episode. The last episode is really great.

I agree with all of what you wrote. The ethnic line of clothing just seemed out of left field. I was disappointed she didn’t stay with hosting television shows or being a news anchor. Being a news anchor was her childhood dream and she worked so very hard on that cooking show before she even met him. I hated that she had to leave that dream behind and quit.
She was stylish and classy and those clothes were just not good. Whoever thought to put the doctor SML in that white flower embroidered blouse with the tassels should give up their pay. That poor actor looked terrible in that.
