THANK YOU!!! Reading every else’s comments made me think I’m missing something or I’m crazy. I don’t like anything about the main couple. It’s strange I usually go for the red flag toxic male dramas and love it, but with Hou Yong it just feels icky. It seems predatory in the worst way. The second couple… I’m here for them. I can’t wait until they get together.

Shot on an iPhone the production isn’t the best. This is a short 20 minute film that I dropped after 10 minutes. I found the filming to be too dark. Hard to see faces and the story was boring. Skip it.

I agree. I think that water gun scene was a main cast finale scene and that is why the ex boyfriend and brother was there. It was cute. I just wish it was at the end with the credits rolling. Then they could have a different reunion scene that was romantic.

I really enjoyed this BL. I absolutely loved the leads and casting of the main couple and second couple. Really great choices. I get that no BL is perfect including this one. Here are some of my random thought watching the final two episodes….

- This series earlier episodes were much better.
- WSW is adorable but his acting skills are lacking. He had wonderful chemistry with CC and that made up for his bad acting. CC delivered an incredible performance.
- Selling/Buying back the house. The couple had removed the tree even when WSW had them put it in the contract where they can’t touch the tree. Is this even legal in China’s real estate laws? Well they touched the tree so did they get their money back from the sale?
- WSW was not at the courthouse? What the heck?
- The watertight. This is not the reunion I wanted. It’s cringey. The CC s shows up with a huge tank of water and dressed all in white. You mean he didn’t rush to see WSW first? Nope… “I’m just going to order this water tank and hop on. “
- The ex boyfriend, that was just saying, let’s go back to Korea so we can delight in their terrible
circumstances. Yet shows up to coordinated water fight.
-Loved the scene where WSW sleeps for days and CC won’t leave his side. Just shows how WSW wasn’t sleeping without CC and that was just too sweet.

I just hate so much that the FL gave up her dream of becoming a publicist because of a cheater. I hope this has a happy ending and part of the ending is that she gets her dream job back and ML gets to work with trains and the end of together.

Thanks! The business talk is starting to irritate me. It’s the least interesting part of the show so I’m starting to think I’m not paying close enough attention to it to really understand what’s going on.

Thanks for your explanation. It helps. I feel as though I need to read the book to understand what’s going on in the show. Glad that it’s for love not revenge. Still it seems like ML is going to put the other ML out of business and that’s going to cause a major rift when he finds out everything. Also seems like HY is trying to trick SSY into marking him. That’s a huge red flag.

Okay, I’m lost. I get the whole ABO universe thing, it’s the main couple that is causing. What the heck is going on which the businesses? They spend so much time on the business and I don’t get what’s going on. And our main leads, Is Hua Yong trying to ruin Sheng business? Does Hua love Sheng for real? Is he out for revenge.

I’m glad you wrote this. I was wondering if that was what they were going for…. “Made him cry for his own good.” The execution was clunky because it just seemed like he was bullying him or kicking him while he was down. I figured this wasn’t what the wanted to convey because Cheng is the ML and it’s best if the viewers like the ML. Despite the awkward bullying I still like the ML.

Episodes 19 - 21 were all over the place and somethings just didn’t make any sense.
- Wei’s mom dies and he is heartbroken but his crying sounded so fake.
- Cheng just leaves the funeral, like huh?
- Cheng shows up at Wei house and yells at him for crying. The crying again sounded so fake. Then a quick switch from crying and they are back together but they don’t resolve anything. No talking it out.
- The whole tricking the second couple to have sex was strange and confusing. So basically by acting like Cheng is abusive towards Wei is going to push his friend towards going “all the way” with is boyfriend. Seriously???? Abusing his friend is not sexy. What was with that strange but effective plan? Ugh and more fake crying. Grrrr… cringe.
- Then Cheng’s dad kidnapped Wei for what? Control Cheng into a blind date. This doesn’t seem like a good plan either.

Huh, this show is good but certainly not perfect.


Oh I almost forgot about the truck full of flowers and them having Their Titanic moments…The yelling and throwing petals was so awkward. I fully admit to laughing at this part and when they showed the driver smoking a cigarette looking like he was cringing hard….pure comedy gold.

Yes, despite its flaws it my favorite show that I’m currently watching and I love the cast.

First off I have to say I love this drama. Unless they completely screw up the ending, which I don’t think they will, it will be a favorite of mine. Still I have to say the last three episodes dialed up the cringe and confusion, see post above.

Correct - This quiz is my “Modern Romance Edition”. I have a “Japanese BL edition” quiz that I did a few months back. If you check out my profile and select the “games” tag you should see it. I’m actually working on my “Japanese BL edition volume 2” now. Japanese BL is my favorite BL❤️. It was way harder for me to create a Japanese drama quiz without including any BL dramas. I just haven’t watched as many non-BL Japanese dramas. 😂

I’m still trying to figure out why I don’t like Bison but like Kant. I think I feel sorry for Kant. He is in an impossible situation and in that BDMS scene he just looked so uncomfortable and like he was forced to do something he didn’t want to do all for the sake of his undercover mission. When he left the house after their night of .BDSM he says something like “that felt like heaven” but his acting didn’t match line. It had me wondering if they added it after the fact comfort the viewers in thinking Kant was not being forced… but his acting in those scenes showed discomfort.

…. Oh yeah…. Let us not forget that Bison is a professional killer. That’s unforgivable and he should be locked up. Yet I’m loving the character of Fidel and he is a professional killer. Nothing bad can happen to Fidel. I’m on episode 8.

This drama has a first for me. First time I don’t like the main couple. I just can’t get behind them. To be honest I don’t like the character of Bison. There is something off putting about him that I can’t figure out. I think Kant is a decent enough character and I’m absolutely loving the secondary couple. I’m watching entirely for them now. I’m on episode 8 and it’s getting harder and harder to get through it. I’m tired of them putting their guns in each other’s faces. How many times are they going to do that? It seems excessive.

I am really enjoying this series. It so sweet I can’t wait for more episodes.
