Small rant.. No hate to the characters, but the whole fight between Euntak and Areum was so pointless and annoying. So much miscommunication and unspoken thoughts/feelings, which I guess you can say is realistic for relationships. But I really didn't enjoy how they dragged it out for literally the whole drama.. Like.. really? She couldn't understand how he didn't have the time to text her when he was literally trapped under rubble, saved, had to assist in surgery and then monitor the patient in the ICU?? As a doctor herself?? But also.. why was he so hesitant and stiff? Like ya'll dated for THREE years. At that point, communication and comfort styles should have already been established between the two? They're acting like they JUST started dating yday. đ° I absolutely hated the fact that they talked to everyone but each other. And using the "let's break up" for the other person to "come to their senses".. got me rolling my eyes so hard LOL Besides that, this season was good. Can tell the other characters were deeply develop after s2, just (imo) this small subplot line bugged me while watching
alright am i missing something or is the "happy"(?) ending that Gun Woo + Woo Jin were able to get back all the…
I thought the same thing! I have no faith or trust in si won's character. He was just a spoiled rich kid who wanted revenge. Not one second do I believe that he will use his enemy's money for the better good. Ending was too rushed and the writers wanted to tie everything up in a neat bow.
I am a Deok Jin and Hong Yeon shipper, but I liked how Yechan was willing to give up even if it meant she was happy with someone else (very mature of him). DJ just gave me more heart fluttering moments in s3 and s4. The scene where he said he's going to cross over to her??! I fainted from a heart attack, too cute lol
I don't remember what's the background story of Eun Jae in S2... is she estranged from her father?Good opening…
At the end of s2, she was estranged from her whole fam bc her brother (who is also a doc) covered up one of his malpractices and her mother tried to convince SJW to keep it a secret but CEJ didnât agree and ultimately decided to expose her bro and cut ties with her fam.
Can someone remind me wht was the ending of s2? I don't remember
Long story short.. main coupleâs ship sailed. CHJ finally got over her fear in cutting/surgery and became one of the best in her field - went back to the main branch to work a little and came back. SWJâs reputation finally got cleared up (he snitched on a doc & thatâs a big no no in the medical field bc it makes you less âtrust worthyâ for other docs). The clinic didnât get closed down after vultures tried & failed. The doctor resident passed her exam. Dr.Kimâs hand shaking got under control.. and yeah
Does BS have some sort of romantic feelings towards SH? or did I pick up the wrong vibe? I didn't read the webtoon but from the drama.. it was interesting how BS was always looking for/at SH (esp tracking his social media). Maybe it's admiration?
Let me just say one thing⌠Jisoo really didnât have to do our sweet boy, Won Bin like that! Made me feel so sad for him, I hope he finds someone who will love him as much as he loves
Just finished watching & omg.. my eyes and nose are so red from all the crying! đ I loved the ending, where she was able to âmeetâ with him to have closure. And when she asked if he regretted it, it broke my heart but he gave the best answer. Bc itâs an answer to a question we will never know.
The only thing that I wasnât a big fan of was the student fake dating plot line . Felt like it wasnât relevant to the plot at all (like other commenters have said, it was like two dramas in one). Would have made more sense if one of the students was going through what ha min did (I totally thought Bo mi was going to head down that path) & so mang took her experience from ha min to help prevent it from happening again. I do have to say, I have never read the webtoon so maybe the drama is missing the more in depth details.
Oh! And did anyone else notice that Jae min was wearing ha minâs watch through out the drama? & when he got closure/stopped blaming himself for âkillingâ his brother, he wasnât wearing it anymore!
Overall it was good! Prepare tissues bc tears came out even when I thought I wasnât going to cry.
At the point the ML is ready to go to Germany, the FL believes he is only staying for her, and doesnât want…
I think at that point there was no stopping her. She came to the conclusion that everything was wrong because of her. Her sister dying, ML not going to Germany, her uncle's failed engagement, the company's employees getting laid off, the company going downhill, etc etc. It also didn't help that everyone was basically pointing their fingers at her calling her selfish and childish. Which I guess are two triggering words for her because it was the last thing her sister said to her before she died.
Goes along the saying, "if you love someone, set them free" & that's what she did. She set everyone free.
Thinking of watching this movie. What is the supernatural power in this movie?
Telekinesis, super speed, super strength are the top 3. The rest are like being able to learn something after reading/hearing it once, feels no pain etc.
It's not as bad as some say. Some parts are slow because it is very weather focused, not necessary a bad thing but I can see why some people don't like it if they have no interest in weather forecasting (very niche based, ig).
My biggest issue is that the 4 main leads, both their relationships had no build up. I can understand for the second leads (bc their relationships started as an affair) but the main leads.. it was "oh we both got dumped/cheated on so here we are, let's date each other". It was a serious rebound. FL was against it for only like what.. 1 ep and then she was all in for a secret office relationship. As for the second leads.. it was "hilarious" to watch they go through the whole "it's like you don't trust me" - uh.. no sh*t. Ya'll got hitched right after SML got exposed of cheating. THE TRUST WAS ALREADY NOT THERE.
Also this is a prime example of DON'T DATE YOUR CO-WORKERS. It's so messy just having people know you got cheated on but then to date the ex of the woman your ex-fiance cheated on you with.... recipe for disaster.
Besides that, I think the drama is slow-paced and a slice of life. I think the side characters were good (esp the sister and 1302 guy, they were cute) I don't think the drama deserves the hate, but I also don't think it was an amazing drama.
Though drama aside.. Song Kang's acting improved so much here. His voice doesn't sound like he's just repeating script lines, sounds more genuine :)
OMG you know what would be so great...If this cast came back to do another lifetime. They said these two were…
I just finished watching & this comment is everythingggg.
I was also a little uncomfy with the whole rape/trying to sleep with one another while the other is intoxicated. She did it at the beginning and I was glad that he stopped it but how he used it against her later on.. to stop her from getting the divorce HE WANTED. *rolls eyes* The pregnancy was also annoying for me.. it's like the writers didn't know how else to make them end up together without having a accidental pregnancy plot thrown in. I would have personally loved to see him suffer a lot more and for him to realize how hard it was for her to be in a one-sided love all this time. I guess there was some repent when he tried to clean up her place without her knowing... BUT IT'S NOT ENOUGH. Esp after all those times he manipulated her and used her as a buffer. Imagine how heart breaking it is to hear someone you love and adore say "I will never fall in love with a woman like you". TRASH.
& the whole hiding her illness from her? That I don't get. It's not fair to be hidden in the dark about something that is related to your own personal health. And I know this is dramaworld.. but like.. what kind of doctor gives out a patient's diagnosis without the patient being there..
I do have to say though.. that date they had visiting all those temples. It was one of the most cutest dates I've seen in a drama in a while. The side glances, the audience knowing that he is falling for her, the "she's melting his ice cold heart" LOL
But the ending where he told her that he fell in love with her first.. truly soulmates. Which explains why he was so against the marriage going public and that he was against her moving in etc. He was just a boy in love. Though.. it sucks that he was messing around with a bunch of women in front of her.
So does this focus only on secondary characters again instead of the 2 leads. Thats what i dont like about c-dramas,…
They all have screen time, but you can obviously tell which ones are the main main leads. I think this drama was a fun bunch, all the leads are connected in some type of way and they're cute together đ
Can someone tell me why the main leads names are âweird/funnyâ? I must have missed the explanation, but they mentioned it at least twice or have said âwhy is your name so weird?â in the drama
Ugh. Absolutely disgusting that he left to go back to work after she got an abortion. Like dude⌠imagine the emotions she was feeling. AND THE FACT THAT HE KEPT SIGHING WHILE AT THE CLINIC (have nothing but the AUDACITY) All that time and hard work he put in for his company while neglecting her.. Karma for not getting a permanent position.
Both were not communicating and/or listening to each other. Itâs like that guard said, âonce you lose a person, youâll just miss themâ CAUSE YOUâVE ALREADY LOST THEM. Donât come back crying.
& I donât think she cheated. When jaundice came into the hospital, she was already pregnant and didnât know. But jaundice mistook her pregnancy symptoms as her flirting lol. I guess she did âmove onâ pretty quickly cause she invited jaundice over the day/night of her abortion. Honestly canât even blame her, he helped her and gave her the attention she craved that her current partner didnât give.
Because letâs be real⌠the relationship ended the moment he took a job without discussing with her first.
Iâm a little sad that this movie ended up being a long distance couple who tried and failed (despite the plot twist at the end). Though this does happen a lot in real life, I just sort of wish we saw them struggle but find their way back together - too corny? LOL
It started out great, the ending was such a twist. Canât say I love or hate it, but Iâm glad she didnât get back with her ex. Both were too toxic for each other.
This drama was just ... OOF. I especially hated Puen. This boy falls in love with any girl who gives him the attention then falls out of love when she starts loving him back! Honestly I still think the ending was really rushed. Him "being in love" with Foon this "whole time" when literally 1 episode ago he was still waiting and stalking Prim and confessing his love to her.. boy, that makes no sense. His love at the end felt like it was obligation and pity because she was pregnant with his child and then also lost the child. WHICH BRINGS ME BACK TO.. WHY. IS. HE. HAVING. SEX. WITH. FOON. WHEN. HE. WAS. THINKING. ABOUT. ANOTHER. GIRL. Can't even hate Foon bc she would ask about his feelings and declare her love for him and he would literally just sit there & not explain anything!! Prim got annoying at times too, but once again.. can't even blame her BECAUSE EVERYONE HAD SO MANY SECRETS. I love Art, he could have confessed so many times or tell Puen to back off Prim.. but for the sake of friendship, he decides not to cross the line with anyone. I do however have to give props for the writers to wrap it back up to friendship at the end for Foon and Prim. Foon started to realize that her friendship with Prim was more important than any boy (even though they ended up together...) Foon started to put her friendship before romance - with the whole art gallery and keeping her promise to Prim.
Overall, Foon matured. Prim listened to her mom's advice on having friends first is more important than a boyfriend. Art .. can't say he ended his one-sided love but he for sure came to terms with it and is living his best life overseas. Chompoo was 10/10 throughout the whole drama - she CARRIED the group on her shoulders. And Puen... He can go suck it. Love Tor but this drama was NOT IT.
It wasn't about romance, it was about family, losing someone dear and motherhood. I enjoyed it till the end and…
PLEASE SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK. I was shocked to hear that some people didn't like the drama bc the main leads "didn't end up together". Like no! The drama is literally called "hi bye, mama", not "hi bye, wife". Every character was tied to their mothers or being a mother. I like the ending, I thought it was a good "last farewell" type of ending
The only thing that I wasnât a big fan of was the student fake dating plot line . Felt like it wasnât relevant to the plot at all (like other commenters have said, it was like two dramas in one).
