I have been racking my head for the so called “MYSTERY OF THE BRACELET” since the beginning, and even in the last episode they didn’t answer that, so I came up with my own theory
So, we all know that Shinwoo gave his crush a bracelet in 8th grade, but did it work out? Nope, he most probably got rejected, and after that he even got bullied. Then what about Taekgyung? He also gave his crush a bracelet, but did it work out? Nope! The one thing that both situations have in common is the bracelet, so I think the bracelet is meant to symbolize their first time of liking someone and facing rejection...
Then what about the keychains? Shinwoo truly loved Taekgyung unconditionally and gifted him the keychain, and Taekgyung gave one back to him…this time their love for each other succeeded…so I think the keychains symbolize true love and relationship…
I guess that’s why the animated outro highlights it so much, where we see two hands and one has a keychain…on the other hand, the bracelet was just lying on the table, as if it were just a memory…In short, the bracelets represent the relationships that couldn't succeed, while keychain represents true love that did succeed..

Shinwoo – My adorable and cute comfort character, where do I even begin…our shy and introverted bean taught me that it’s okay to be who you are, and it’s completely possible to overcome the trauma of being bullied…even though it may take some time to open up to other people and you might be misunderstood and judged at the beginning, you can still take it step by step. He taught me how a good and supportive friend should be, and how you should love someone unconditionally while still knowing your place and respecting their boundaries. They might not see you (like the animal he feeds) or they might realize it later (Taekgung) but that’s okay…Also, I love his fashion sense, he could totally style my wardrobe😂
Daon – Our precious student council president, words can’t even describe how proud I am of him for coming out of his shell! I realized that even though some people are popular and might seem perfect on the outside, you never know how much they are hurting inside…I am glad that he realized later to not care about what other people think, so he will definitely find his happiness. This guy actually made me realize what not to do when it comes to love (and even friendship), or else I might end up regretting it later. I am gonna definitely miss you and your cardigans!
Namgoong – Boy if only I could have a best friend like you…our funny yet mature guy is a keeper…always supporting and giving advice to everyone, and in spite of knowing everything, NOT ONCE did he talk about them behind their backs…he could have easily told Shinwoo’s secret to Taekgyung, and rattled out Sohee to Daon, but he told them to do it themselves and did not interfere…The mood maker of the group, and amazing singer (Shinwoo could take some singing lessons lol), he is like the whole package
Taekgyung – Our too honest for his own good, straightforward, and awkwardly cute male lead, he made me realize that I would be happiest if I don’t care about other people’s judgements of me, and accept myself for who I am…and it’s okay if I suddenly want to change and do something new. He taught me how to be brave and sincere towards the people that you care about
Mr Seo – Every child in the world needs a teacher like him honestly…Without his encouragement, Taekgung wouldn’t have been motivated to join the student council. Without him, we wouldn’t even be having this story in the first place. Him giving the best love advice to his students just shows how comfortable he is with them. One of the best teachers ever!
I am gonna miss this comment section as well and how it became an internal war zone at times…but deep down I know that all of us empathize and love the characters (some a little more than others, but that’s okay, at least we all hate Sohee:)

Well said...some people are just so judgemental regarding him...calling him a jerk and everything just because he was a little rude at start...not even taking into consideration everything that he has been through....inspite of that he gave it his all, in regards to his friendship an even love

And I think people tend to forget the fact that Shinwoo was literally bullied in 8th grade for his sexuality...which was way worse than what Daon had to face while coming out...he clearly didn't want to be close to anyone and yet Taekgyung came up to him with the I Need Friends stuff...if I were him, I would be conflicted as well

It's probably because she is too invested in the charcters...maybe she empathizes with them much more than needed...In general I would advice you to not suggest her kdrama shows which have love triangles, because such series do take a toll on some people
Rather I would suggest her to watch series where there is a main couple and a secondary couple, and everyone gets a happy ending at the end
