I think you are absolutely right...both characters have so much depth, that it's important to see the bet in their perspective to find out their actual motive...I guess I was seeing it only from the viewer's perspective till now so it wasn't making sense to me... I seriously can't wait to see what happens next!!
You should forget the novel since the drama doesn't follow the novel. Personally, I think this bet will take place…
Yes, this makes sense...thank you for explaining! I was actually seeing the bet from only one perspective I guess...the bet was "whoever falls in love first loses", so till now I was assuming that it would mostly mean falling in love with other people...it didn't occur in my mind that it could also mean falling in love with each other
I didn't realize that Pat's hidden motive could be to make Pran to fall in love with him first and vice versa. Pat is a smart fellow while Pran is reserved and cautious so this might not be an easy road but it's very much possible
The boat scene in the trailer where they make a bet that "whoever falls in love first loses"....anyone has any theories on that part? Because in the next episode they might have come closer to realizing their feelings for each other, so I am confused as to why would they make such a bet in the first place (especially Pran because technically he had already realized his feelings fallen for Pat). And in which episode do you think will this scene air?
I have not read the novel in detail so I am seriously confused...So any reply will be appreciated (with spoiler tags of course)

Yes same here...I seriously don't get the "whoever falls in love first loses" bet part either...why would Pran bet on something like when he has already fallen for Pat...
I am glad that Ink is not a dramatized female villain in this one, that trope has been already used in other BLs lot. As for Pat falling for her, I can completely understanding, since I myself have a crush on her lol! People should realize that this is not a trope, and instead it actually reflects the heteronormativity of the society. Pat has grown up in an environment where all his friends assume that his crush is a girl and even his own dad assumes that he brings many girls over, so it’s totally normal for him to get confused and think he has a crush on her…Infact I am pretty sure that she will be the one bringing them closer together!
Just my opinion (no hate)…one of the so called best thai BL series of last year also had the main lead falling in love with a girl and getting confused yet no one said a word there, and later in the next season they had the bisexual character cheating troupe yet the main couple eventually getting back together like a fairytale, and no one said a word. I think you should complain against those actual tropes instead
If Pat doesn't get a grip of himself in the next couple of episodes then I am handing Pran to Wai...joking lol....but seriously, the way Wai stood up to Pat when Pran was injured during the match was sooo hot!!
All im saying gmm stepped their pussy up cause this director directed 3 amazing shows from 1000 stars to even…
The director P Aof didn't direct Fish upon the sky, he was just the producer in that series...It's true though, all his directed series are masterpieces...Gmmtv is quite lucky to have him
I should have known…I should have seen it coming…last ep (episode 3) was way too happy and giddy…and it was very suspicious when the trailer of this episode seemed even more happier and fluffy…I should have known…..
Reaction video to Ep 2 of Bad Buddy by the director himself (P Aof) and his friends (who are also directors) is out with English subtitles!!
To those of you who love watching reaction videos, I highly recommend you to watch these as you will get to know the director’s perspective here. What I love about their reaction videos is that the other directors are quite close to each other and freely critique on the series in Part 2, and P Aof is attentive to all those criticisms which shows how much of a passionate director he is!
In my opinion, this episode really shunned the whole masculine/feminine top/bottom stereotype...
During the bus stop night scene, Pat suggested to be girlfriend and boyfriend, but Pran refused to be the girlfriend, so Pat straight away said that we can be both be boyfriends then... Not only that, Pat, the one who fits in the "masculine top" stereotype, was ready to roleplay and called himself the wife and Pran the husband, just so that Pran can get ideas to design the bus stop...I think the series wants to foreshadow that both of them are comfortable, maybe even versatile like many gay couples in real life...
P Aof was lying when he said you might not like the first 3 episodes, cause the 3rd episode was the best one so far!! I hope that after watching this episode, the people hating on the series because of the fight scenes will stop, since there is legit nothing to complain about now...
