Gosh why did I watch this...now even my standards for kdramas has become high....I don't know if I will be able to move on, or even watch another kdrama after this....
Noh Shinwoo rarely smiled in the first few episodes…the fact that we get to see glimpses of his smile in the recent episodes makes me appreciate his smile even more…he is the cutest! Yoo Seok did an amazing job as an actor! Once I see the karaoke scene in the next episode, I will probably have a heart attack because of his cuteness overload…
I would like to take a moment to appreciate Daon’s and Noh Shinwoo’s friendship…I love how they are so straightforward and supportive of each other even though they both love the same person. The way Shinwoo gave advice to Daon that he should stop avoiding Taekgyung and go after him…he is such a selfless and supportive friend. Yet he shouldn’t be mistaken as a pushover either, cause he said that if Daon doesn’t go after Taekyung, then he will (loved this scene!)
On the other hand, some may find it silly that Daon didn’t go after Taekyung, but this proves that he is slowly becoming self-aware in my opinion…he slowly started realizing his limitations….And the fact that he could only give Taekyung his tutoring notes, but not face him directly to have a conversation…he must have realized that he is not courageous enough to have a relationship with him yet…which is totally fine, cause in a relationship, both parties must be ready, or else it will turn into a toxic relationship…and it’s better to take baby steps…
And when Daon realized this, he told Shinwoo to go after Taekyung, because he knew that Shinwoo would take good care of him (Flashback to the scene where Daon told Taekyung that Noh Shinwoo was nicer than him)…Daon and Shinwoo really trust each other…that’s just best boys behavior right there!
One of the most mature, respectable and adorable male leads you will ever see in kdramas...the female lead is strong, intelligent, resourceful and hardworking....Ki syeon gyum and Oh Mijoo's relationship is one of the healthiest retaionships I have even seen! Even if they face obstacles, they are always there for each other...yet they give each other their space when needed, there is no toxicity between them at all! I feel it's better to either be in a healthy relationship like this, or not be in a relationship at all...toxic relationships are just not worth it
I just realized that even though Noh Shinwoo and Taekyung are still a bit awkward with each other, they complement each other really well…
Noh Shinwoo first started noticing and liking Taekyung when he saw him helping out the security guard who had hurt his leg. Even though there was no reason to do so, and he didn’t get any benefit out of it, he still helped him, which must have melted Shinwoo’s heart…
I am sure Taekyung must have felt warm when he saw Shinwoo was filling the bowls with food for an animal he has never seen, even though it was inconvenient and his home was far away. Again, there was no reason to do this, but Shinwoo still did it cause of his kindness and selflessness…
I think this could be an important factor because of which they will feel attracted towards each other and become closer…both have contrasting personalities, one is straightforward and honest, the other has a hard time expressing himself, yet deep down they both are actually soft for each other…
I'm still not convinced Daon is in love with Taekyoung, he definitely finds Taekyoung special, but true love is…
So true...and the best part is, there are 6 more episodes left, and I am sure more of his selfless acts are yet to come! I hope Daon reflects on his life cause he also deserves happiness...

Adding to what @suchakdramaqueen said, Noh Shinwoo has a hard time expressing himself, cause when he did speak up in middle school, he was bullied, outed and hurt, though we don’t know the story in detail. He probably goes into some sort of gay panic when he sees Taekyung, and didn’t want his feelings and emotions to take over him, even though he really likes him…so that’s why he tried to avoid him as much as possible by acting that way….though later, he gives in to his heart…he is somewhat complex and does things without people noticing, which makes him more interesting to me
Finally someone who said it the right way instead of just criticizing Da-on's character
Daon's character is pretty understandable, cause it's natural human instinct to try to avoid getting hurt...if anything, it's the homophobic environment around him that should be criticized

The difference in Daon’s and Noh Shinwoo’s character is becoming so much more noticeable as the episodes progress. I mean, Daon is nice to people because he wants people to think nicely of him. But would he be willing to help someone anonymously or without that person noticing? Maybe, maybe not....
On the other hand, Noh Shinwoo is out there feeding an animal that he has never seen, and probably the animal also doesn’t know he exists, yet he inconveniences himself even though he lives far away…
One of them tries to avoid getting hurt which is completely normal and understandable, and my heart goes out to him…But the other one, even after being bullied for their sexuality, gossiped about by others, being misunderstood by people, yet is firm and sincere, and didn’t let those incidents change himself. He (along with Namgoong) are definitely one of the bravest and strongest characters in this series!
Edit: I just remembered the scenes where Noh Shinwoo stood up for Taekyung when confronting Sohee, and Taekyung doesn't even know that yet...Had he known, he would have fallen for him already
