People who are saying "SML (Do Han) should just come out of the closet" really reek of privilege....do you think its that easy? Especially in a country like Korea? You could legit see how people gossiped about him in school, how his ex got hurt...do you even realise the consquences of him coming out as the "gay illegitimate son" of a chaebol family? I wish that people had a little more empathy and try to undestand that coming out of the closet could be disastrous for a lot of queers...

And those who don't understand the SML's intention of fake marrying his best friend (the FL), let me make it easier for you guys...HE CANNOT STAY HIDDEN BECAUSE HIS GRANPA LEGIT PUT SPIES ON HIM IN NEW YORK!! His privacy and boundaries were so easily invaded, do you think his family wouldn't find out later? Even coming out isnt an option. That's why he thought that fake marrying the one person he trusts could at least get these people from being suspicious and leaving him the hell alone...plus he is not interested in becoming the heir of the company, and even offered the best friend loads of money, so it works

Agree with you...its like whatever SH does, some people will always complain...he literally has been so honest with JS all the time, and has been consistently choosing him since day 4...yet people bring up these comments like "JS deserves better"....someone like JS who knows his worth wouldnt be attracted to SH if he wasn't a genuinenly good person....these people seriously don't understand SH at all...

I am rewatching some episodes, and it still amazes me and gives me goosebumps on how Seongho made all the right decisions at the right time…it’s like his INFJ traits and overthinking habit came in handy…

He didn’t give Junseong any false hints, yet he was honest to him about his interest in Seonwoo. And once he was sure about Junseong, he just went for it. The timing was also perfect according to me, cause if he would have chosen Junseong only on the last day (which usually happens in a lot of dating shows), it would seem as if he did it just because Seonwoo didn’t like him back…and we would all have ended up questioning whether he genuinely likes Junseong or not. But nobody can doubt him now, because of the fact that he called Junseong back, even after receiving the voice mail and call from Seonwoo first. And of course, the way he was on their dates also proved this.

Like he mentioned, it’s really true how “love is all about timing”…

It's so funny on how at the beginning of the show we were all crying because of Junseong-Seongho pair and laughing because of Minsung-Hyunjoon pair, now towards the end of the show, it has become the opposite...we are laughing because of our Junseong-Seongho, and crying because of Minsung-Hyunjoon😭

Seongho to Seonwoo – “To be honest, I feel like I was being selfish by choosing between the two of you. Compared to you, I said a lot of hurtful things to JunSeong. I told him I wanted to know more about you. I asked him to wait for me many times.”

Honestly, this is my first time seeing a person in a dating show who is so emotionally mature and intelligent. Seongho admitted that he overthinks a lot and took the blame on himself, even though we know that it's a dating show and he wasn't being selfish at all…he has so much empathy and love to give, and even knows how to communicate well with others…Junseong really chose the right person...I love him so much...

With the person that he his, I am sure he must have given reassurance to Junseong as well behind the scenes...I am truly going to miss him once the show ends...

I have a feeling that Junsung is actually rich, but just doesn't show it much...like you said, he has less clothes, but all of them look unique from stylish brands, that don't seem to follow the typical fashion trends of Korea. Plus he doesn't have a car...and where I am from, if a person doesn't have a car, it's either because they are too broke to afford one, or too rich that they take a cab everywhere and don't need one...so either he is too broke (doesnt seem likely though cause of the prices you mentioned) or on the rich end of the spectrum. But I am not aware of the cabs and public transport situation in Korea, so this is just my assumption...

Sungho is an actual human being though...a gay man...with feelings...and he had met Junsung just a couple of days ago and saw him as a good friend in the beginning...do you think human beings have a switch which can be turned on and off to control your feelings for someone?

Plus he was always honest with Junsung and clearly communicated with him that he also had another man in his mind...so if Junsung still wanted to pursue him, then thats because he really likes Sungho...and Sungho is not responsible for that...

Exactly...he didn't discourage Yunghee and start any drama by saying something like "you made me mistuderstand, you should have been careful" (have a feeling the some other members would have done it)...he is a very empathetic person

P.S: The ones who were commenting that Junsung is "toxic" and "rude" towards other members in the beginning episodes must have been eating up their words now lol! This man not only takes such good care of his crush, but also listens to other members, comforts them, and gives good advice…to the point where even Yunghee, who has been consistently calling his crush every night, broke the chain, just to express his gratefulness to Junsung through the voice mail!!

Keeping love a little bit aside, here is an appreciation thread for my personal favorite friendship duos:

1. Junsung and Yunghee – These both were there for each other at their lowest points, and their hyung-donsaeng dynamic is really adorable. I am sure that Junsung must have comforted Yunghee a lot more behind the scenes as well, otherwise Yunghee wouldn’t have sent the voice mail to express his gratitude. This is what friendship should be, simultaneously rooting for each other while trying your best in your own thing
But my favourite and funniest moment was both of them getting anxious while trying to find where Junsung's hoodie was hahaha

2. Junsung and Minsung – The chill besties who like to have deep talks and counsel each other. Also, thanks to Minsung, the captain of our ship JS-SH ship, for taking the cute polaroid picture at the Bbq night. His legendary smirk meme face (when Junsung told Sungho to sit next to him) will always be remembered

3. Seonwoo and Minsung – Seonwoo, the captain and the wingman for our MS-HJoon ship…the way he is always more anxious and invested about their relationship more than his own, is adorable in a way honestly. His advice really encouraged HJoon, who was so shy and awkward, to express his feelings and take action in the later episodes

Though I have only seen a few dating reality shows, not once did I see a potential couple worry and overthink about how different their potential relationship could be when they get back to their daily life after the show ends...so I almost cried during Junsung and Sungho's conversation at the cafe...

The way Junsung said that he was worried whether he would be able to meet Sungho’s expectations outside of the show, since they won’t be around each other all the time and it wouldn’t be possible for him to give him his full attention…it was really sincere and enduring to watch😭

Junsung himself said that he usually tends not to overthink, but when it comes to Sungho, he was literally thinking about future dynamics of their relationship outside of the show. He trusts Sungho so much cause he knows that Sungho is mature enough to understand, and won’t take it in a negative way. The way these both communicate with each other, their skinship, their flirtatious moments, their honesty with each other…it’s really precious…

Loved the way you described JS and SH's relationship...it is sooo on point!!!

From the starting, Sungho has always been my favourite, and though I can understand that some people might be frustrated at him due to the preview, everyone should remember that previews can be misleading!!

You can have your opinions about him and his actions after watching the next episodes, where we will be able to hear more of the conversation between him and Seonwoo...but till that time I hope people don't judge him based on mere assumptions from the preview...

As for Seonwoo, I have given up on figuring him out at this point...he is who he is after all

Yeah, he was mad at SW not JS, otherwise he wouldn't have suggested JS to stay in the house and help him to cook...and definitely wouldn't have worn JS's jacket and fed him that lettuce wrap

This is exactly what I am worried about, but I am hoping that the next episode manages to clear the confusion... cause Sungho would have definitely felt something after hearing all of that, he might have even gone to talk with someone else...hoping that they show his reaction...

Ah really? To me it seemed like you were the one projecting...JS and Sungho are roommates which is why they are with each other a lot...and considering the fact the Yonghee still searches and goes to SW multiple times like a lost puppy too, even though they are not roommates at this point...had they been roomates, the same would have happened, which is why YH wrote that letter to SW so that he can be around with him more...plus he tries to find every opportunity to be around him, like the car ride where he literally told Daenyeol to be with Minsung more so that he can act like a couple with SW.

And I find nothing wrong with both these situations lol, they are here trying to find a match after all. And it doesn't matter to me whether JS gets friendzoned or not...I am a Sungho supporter so I just want him to be happy, even if it means not finding anyone, rather than choosing someone who is not right for him:)

Hmm..I think what you said is a bit ironic cause even YH got friendzoned by SW but is still pursuing him. With JS, at least Sungho clearly said that JS is one of the members he is interested in, and that he is conflicted between the two...so why is it ok for YH to pursue SW even after his constant rejection, but not JS to pursue Sungho??

Wanted to get this off my chest… For the people who are still confused about the night conversation between JS and SW, I am 100% sure it happened AFTER the Bbq night and the voice mails. Here's proof -

1. The tables behind JS and SW had lots of beer cans and empty food boxes, clearly from the Bbq dinner...in contrast to the previous Jenga night where they just has a simple dinner.

2. When SW went to Sungho's room to talk (after the rooms were chosen) during the day, SW said “I only found out this morning that JS likes you very much”, which means that the night convo hadn't happened yet.

3. Sungho had shifted to the single room on the 2nd floor that morning itself, that's why he happened to overhear the night convo from the 2nd floor:(

4. The captions say "That night" referring to the upcoming Bbq night, and not the previous night.

Just hope that this confusion is sorted out in episode 8, cause I don't want people judging Sungho negatively in case he does end up sending the voice mail to SW...

Even I came to the same conclusion...
But I didn't understand why the editors put that night convo scene (that is supposed to happen in the future) at the end of episode 6 while the members were still choosing their roommates during the day? They could have easily showed it at the end of episode 7 after the bbq dinner was over...I mean, it might have been for dramatic purposes, but a lot of people (including me) got confused and mistook it for a flashback...
