Guys, if you come across any body shaming comments or insults towards the actors, could you please report them instead of engaging? MDL will take them down when enough people report...
So I read a lot of comments from Asian/Thai side explaining why they seem to have broken up at the end and I want…
No problemš We all have our cultural differences so of course, it's impossible to understand understand each other 100%. Even though I and many fans are Asians, it doesn't mean we are less hurt by the PatPran's situation. Yes, we do understand and find if relatable, but it hurts, in fact I would say that it hurts even more. I am thankful that even if we have our differences due to different cultural upbringings, you guys are trying to understand our perspective as wellš
Whether the breakup is real or not is another question that will be answered in ep 12. But assuming that itās real, I can totally understandā¦them breaking up in a healthy way and putting their parents first is something that makes so much sense to me that it hurtsā¦as an Asian, itās way too relatableā¦the feeling of wanting to run away but you canāt cause you are financially and emotionally dependent on your families, so you have to give up your love (or something that you love, even career and hobby wise).
It hurt even more cause it was healthy, they understood each other (unlike drama tropes with toxic breakups due to misunderstanding, cheating, hating, blaming, love in denial etc.). I think when Pat said the words āthank you for making a silly guy like me happyā, he understood the reality, they finally understood what they had to do, cause it was inevitable. They knew that fighting against their parents would make everything worse, and they would lose everything cause they are still dependent on their families, so they what had to be done, cause they love each otherā¦
Not everyone has the privilege to fight for their love. I am seeing so many people tweeting that they can relate to the situation cause it has happened to them. To those who still donāt get it and wish to understand our perspective, you can read these tweets
Never thought that an OST could make me cry so much on the first listen...Nanon is truly an amazing actor and singer...one of the best in the Thai BL industry
I can't even tell you how much your comment is relatable to me. It was like a escape from reality for me this…
Same...while watching the episodes, those moments were so happy...but then after it ends, reality hits back...and the worse part is that even in reality, our minds and hearts are still stuck in BBS world, in PatPran's world...and after it all ends, it's gonna be so hard to come out...But like you said, after we come out, the memories will last with us forever...Hopefully we will all be able to heal from this painš
*hugs tight* the best things is that you are not alone... I and everyone here are with you. We laughed together,…
*virtual backhug tighter* (even this reminds me of PatPranšš) Even though most of the time I am silently reading comments here, I am so thankful for you guys, your jokes, your angst theories and everything...together let's laugh and be heartbroken like this till the endš
Jokes on meā¦my so called ācomforting seriesā doesnāt feel comforting anymoreā¦Bad Buddy has affected me so much to the point where a part of me regrets even starting it, especially for someone like me who is easily attached to the story and the charactersā¦Lately my life has been going through ups and downsā¦and in a way, Bad Buddy definitely increased the pain and made me feel more lonely and depressed, but I know that I am not the only one who feels this way, and that I will heal soon. I donāt know how I will be after it finishes, but I also know that our pain will heal, it might take some time, but it will healā¦
So apparently, PAof (the director) actually cried, because the actor who played Pat's dad really couldn't cut his hair short as the scenes were postponed due to Covid and it crashed with his other schedules...but later PAof realized that that's the best he could do...
All of this just makes me appreciate him even more as a director, cause sometimes you try your best for everything to be perfect, but some things aren't in your control...I can imagine how frustrated he might have been, but inspite of all the obstacles, he gave the best BL series that I could have ever asked forš
Guys I have a question for youā¦when Pran comes to know about the fact that Patās dad stole his motherās scholarship, what do you think his reaction will be? Will he be angry at him? Cause if I were in his position, then I would definitely be angry at the guy who stole my motherās scholarship, not to the extent of harboring feelings of revenge, but I will definitely be angry. But then again, my mom is not a toxic, abusive and controlling parent like Pranās momā¦so I am guessing he might not feel anything at all cause he is so done with everythingā¦
How does Gun have freaking chemistry with every person he is paired up with, be it any gender??Jane from Gifted, and now Film in Not Me...he is amazing...
You know Bad Buddy is successful when even the comment section of another ongoing series canāt stop talking about Bad Buddy and comparing that series to Bad Buddy instead of talking about the series itself lol!
PAof is very smart for shooting alternative endingsā¦I am assuming there might be 3 endings (if not more) - happy, sad and an open ending. Bad Buddy has gotten immensely popular worldwide thanks to the actors, director and the crewās talent (and not due to any pandemic situation advantage like other shows). Because of this huge response, Gmmtv might air an open ending and create hype for season 2, cause letās face it; they want cash at the end of the day, even if it might mean exploiting and extending the plot. This is one of the rare times I wish that Bad Buddy should have been gatekeeped and not blown up, because Gmmtv always tries to milk out a popular series. Again, this is all my assumption, and I really hope that I am proven wrong, cause I personally hate sad and open endingsā¦

Love thisšš Include dirty eating habits and somewhat unclean lifestyle in the demerits (though he takes a shower regularly these days because of Pran lol)
