The caption said “that night” so I’m surprised so many got confused with the timeline; I’m pretty sure…
You are right, the caption did say that...However, the way the inserted that night conversation out of nowhere while the members were choosing the rooms during the day time caused confusion, and a lot of audience like me mistook it as a flashback of the previous night...
Cause it doesn't make sense to suddenly put a scene from the future in between the episode (unless it's a preview for the next episode)...maybe the editors wanted to create a dramatic effect or something...but as you said, I hope they will clear it out in the next episode...
This is interesting! There’s only one reason I think the theory could be wrong I’m curious to know your thoughts…
I get what you are saying, but I personally didn't feel the rejection vibe from Seonwoo...cause he even said “I want to confirm all this by going on a date with you. I thought about going on a date with you” to Yunghee which makes me think that somewhere in his mind, he was considering him...Honestly though I feel like it's very hard to figure out what Seonwoo is thinking sometimes...
But one thing that I don't get is that, when he was talking with Sungho during the daytime, he clearly said “I only found out this morning that JS likes you very much”. If the conversation that Sungho overheard (between him and JS) happened on the previous Jenga night, then why would he straight up lie to Sungho on the following day saying that he found out about JS that morning itself? Unless...it wasn't a lie...which makes me more sure that the convo hadn't actually happened on the Jenga night, but on the Bbq night after the voice mails...
If u notice the main poster and spoiler which others had shared, it is looking like at the end SH ends up with…
I mean, eventually we will anyway get to know who ends up with who...my only concern is that Sungho shouldn't be viewed negatively by Junsung stans or anyone else just because the editors decided to change the narrative behind that night conversation...
Please! NO! POOR SH!😭😭 I also think that he sent that vm to SW. And if he heard that convo after that, he…
Yeah exactly:(...And it's not fair to Sungho at all cause if the rumour is true and he actually did send that voice mail to Seonwoo, then I am afraid that a lot of viewers might judge him in the next episode, saying that he is a simp and has no self-respect since he still voice mailed Seonwoo even after overhearing that convo....when in reality, he had sent the voice mail before hearing that convo...
IKR!! And this theory is supported with proof cause apparently there was a table behind Junsung and Seonwoo which had lots of beer cans and empty food boxes from the BBQ dinner...in contrast to the previous night where they just has a simple dinner. And Sungho has shifted to the single room on the 2nd floor that morning itself, that's why he happened to overhear the conversation at night from the 2nd floor...
OMG GUYS!! Some people are saying that the conversation that Sungho overheard (between Junsung and Seonwoo) actually happened AFTER the voice mails were sent out on the BBQ night...but they changed the timeline in the show to seem as if it happened the previous night ?? Now I feel even more bad for Sungho since he might have already sent his voice mail without knowing anything:(
At first, I thought that Minsung would be a like a typical quiet prince charming kinda guy. Boy, I was sooo wrong... he turned out to be one of the funniest guys of the group for me. He sets a loud alarm, resulting in everyone else to wake up except him. He calls different people every night. He got both newcomers interested in him, but he wrote a letter to Jungwook to be his roommate, and then finally chose to live with Seonwoo out of nowhere. And after Seonwoo legit thought out and planned their grocery matching date so that Minsung could be close to Daenyeol, he voice mailed someone else, lol. Not to mention the legendary smirk face that he made when Junsung called Sungho to sit near him
Though I understand that some people might feel frustrated about him. He doesn't seem to be the type of person to think that much compared to others...he just does whatever he feels that at the moment. I may be wrong though, he might surprise us in the future episodes by showing a different side...
Fun realization that I had while rewatching…If Sungho had actually found Junsung’s acts of service as annoying and overwhelming (like some people are claiming), he could have easily discussed about that with Seonwoo in their morning talk in the room...It was the perfect opportunity since Seonwoo was gossiping about Junsung anyway…but on the contrary he defended him, adding that he himself had tried all he could for Seonwoo. Seonwoo had already started the conversation stating what Junsung had said, and their door was closed, so Sungho could have easily added to that, but he didn’t…
Since Sungho is my favourite in His Man and I subconsciously find myself paying more attention to him, I also noticed that he seemed happier while spending time with Junsung. In fact, it was Sungho who suggested for Junsung to stay to help him in cooking, and wanted him as his roommate. Even though it may not be feelings of love for Sungho, since feelings can’t be forced…but at least friendship wise they seem really compatible and like spending time with each other! Hoping that they continue being friends outside the show in case they don’t end dating each other...
Personally, I feel this whole thing has affected Sungho the most, and has taken a toll on his mind. I remember how excited he looked on day 1 in the café, with his happy eyes and bubbly smile. But in the recent episodes he didn’t talk as much and even got a nosebleed:(
He has been put in such a complicated spot. In a way Sungho, Junsung, Yonghee are similar, they are very honest in communicating feelings… But with Junsung, at least Sungho has been communicating with him honestly and tells him straightforward that he is conflicted. On the other hand Sungho is not receiving the same from Seonwoo. To an audience like us, it’s obvious that Seonwoo might not like him that much. But imagine being in the house, trying your best efforts and communicating your feelings honestly, only to hearing Seonwoo openly discuss about you with someone else, and then telling you “I am upset. There’s other person standing next to you. I’m complete stranger to this news”, framing it as if was Sungho’s responsibility to tell him. Receiving such mixed signals must have obviously made him overthink a lot....
At the end of the day, I just hope he gets to enjoy a bit and leave this house happily without any regrets, even if he doesn’t find someone…and if he does, I hope that person is also just as honest as Sungho is with his feelings...
And remember, if you don't like someone or need more time, just tell them honestly...don't leave them hanging...cause some of us are overthinkers, and stuff like this affects us a lot...
Whoever styled Gemini deserves a raise....cause Heart is one of the most beautiful humans I have ever seen, especially when he smiles at LiMing😍....like he seems genuinely happy with him around but you can still see the sadness in his eyes caused due to years of loneliness...Can't believe that this is the first series that Gemini acted in, he is such a natural!!!
GEMINI'S ACTING OMG😍!!! I feel he deserves more appreciation, his micro expressions were so on point! I was crying at the semi-rejection under the umbrella scene, but ended up laughing the next second when he was dramatically crying on his bed lol😂
I could feel the pain and frustration of Tinn when Gun tried to kiss him while shooting the MV...poor boy...Gemini's eyes were so expressive at this scene...I felt like pushing Gun away from him myself:( but I am glad that they communicated and sorted it out at the end...We love a healthy couple!!!
Anyway, I am still wondering how every episode of MSP manages to be better than the previous one...and why I am so obsessed with all their songs so far?? At this rate it's gonna end up being my favorite series
Yeah jokes on them...they are so superficial... CM and JH were so lovely yesterday but people were mocking them..
Exactly...it seems that they only care about public announcements and not genuine interactions...even in Changmin and JungHyun's IG live, people were commenting weird things like telling them to kiss and everything, but since they didn't, they were saying it was all fake...
You know what's really funny? Yesterday Changmin and JungHyun were together and legit went live, but people were mocking them saying they just seem like friends, making jokes about how they will last a month....but when Jeongho was uploading one-sided narratives and pics of him and HJ on his stories, everyone believed that they were the real deal and would last longer💀
You know what makes Changmin and Jeong Hyun’s relationship really special? Changmin is someone who is kind, quiet and a really good listener. He seems like an empath who gets overwhelmed if there is too much attention on him. I seriously don’t know why there are so many judgmental comments about him from the viewers, because I guess it’s a trend to hate on quiet and nice guys and say things like “he is so dull” or whatever. It’s really not his fault that he is conventionally attractive, so people should blame the ones who chose him solely based on looks, instead of blaming Changmin himself.
One of the people who didn’t chose him based on his looks was Jeong hyun. If you see, Changmin and Jeong Hyun can both be deemed as conventionally attractive in Korea, though I am not really sure. But I am sure both of them have had their fair share of people who approach them only because of their good looks. Maybe that’s why Changmin finds it so difficult to choose someone just by spending a few days, and he listens to what each and every person is saying. The same for Jeong Hyun, had he made a decision solely based on looks, he would have called Changmin on the first day without any hesitation. He is really mature for his age. He has said multiple times that Changmin was a confusing person, and that he couldn’t understand him at first. But the fact that Changmin took care of him, their playful jokes as well as the deep conversations they had, all those things must have moved him. That’s why later he called him, simply because he was really thankful for all those things.
I totally understand why Changmin was so overwhelmed when it was his time to make a call, cause as I said, he would rather listen than express himself in words. He is not someone who trusts and opens up to a person only after a few days, but the fact that he was able to talk to Jeong Hyun about his own personality in a mere 30 second phone call (and wishing him good night twice that day) means that Jeong Hyun is indeed special...
I am absolutely in love with this show, where the enemies to lover trope actually makes sense since they are actually enemies and have a reason to dislike each other. The intro is GOLD! I am glad that the male lead Cho Sangwoo is not a damsel in distress but is smart and actually sticks with his morals and beliefs. I can see symptoms of OCD in him. I love his character so much because I can relate to him to a major extent. As for Jaeyoung, our mischievous designer, he is hilarious, fun, quirky and has an even funnier yet adorable friend group. I am so gay for his female friend lol😅
Even the woman pursuing and trying to date Cho Sangwoo is so cute, and the interactions between her and Jaeyoung are so hilarious😂. I was laughing so hard whenever he randomly winks at her. Since both of them are rivals and are trying to go after the same guy, it makes the scenes even funnier.
The cinematography of this one is top-tier, especially in the skateboarding scene, the dart throwing scene, and the dark room scene. I can’t wait for the next episodes 😍
